Does exactly what it claims!! Add it to your paint, stir REALLY well and off you go! Just ensure you paint properly so you don’t leave blobs of it.I used mine to add grip on indoor painted stairs. In hindsight, I’d probably have used less product as the overall finish is too grainy, however they are not slippery at all!

Bought this to add to a clear oil based polyurethane varnish to finish the stairs that I had sanded and stained to ensure that they weren't slippery. Provides a good non-slip surface and the varnish remains clear. The surface is textured but not rough so still good for bare feet

Not sure if we mixed it evenly but some areas were more anti-slip than others. Perhaps mixing it with a bit less varnish would be better so will try that next time.

Easy to use and seems to be working really well. It is hardly noticeable leaving a slightly textured finish which looks fine. Had previously used the cuprinol anti slipping varnish which was rather a costly mistake. It was a total disaster as it peeled off in many areas. Had to rub back entire surface and start again.

I needed to repaint the steps leading up to my flat. Although mostly under cover, the bottom steps were really slippery when rain blew in. After rubbing the steps back and prepping the concrete I mixed one sachet into the paint. The steps are much rougher in texture now and nowhere near as lethal after a rainstorm.

Use this with clear varnish on yacht cockpit battens. When mixed the grains become invisible and the surface is good non slip.

I had my floors and stairs stripped and found that the stairs in particular were slippy to walk on in socks or slippers. So on the stairs I added another coat of the varnish with this mixed in. What a difference. It looks fine, you can’t see it, and I’m sure saves a lot of accidents. To be honest it feels very like sand so perhaps sand would do the job, who knows, but for the price of this I’d say just go for it. My floor stripping guy was impressed and will be recommending it to his clients.
