So, making a custom dog collar that's fairly thick (I thought it was about 9mm, but it's closer to 10), so I ordered these in 10mm hoping they'd work. Too short. Not the fault of the rivets, and that's not why I'm giving them 3 stars. I'm sure I'll use them, but beware -- I was able to deform the rivet cap just by pushing the two pieces together! The metal is very thin, so keep that in mind when ordering, and be sure to use a proper tool to set them or you'll have very ugly rivet heads.

I used these in making vinyl snap tabs. These rivets fit well through 4 layers of vinyl. I have used about 50 sets with none of them bending when I hit them with a hammer. I had tried a different brand and over half of them bent and were ruined when I tried placing them.

The set is perfect unless you want to use a thick piece of leather or thick fabric then they will be a bit short. Good buy great quality

These work flawlessly. They were packaged separately, caps in a zip baggy, and the shafts loose in a thin plastic case that closes and keeps them both secure. Don’t get me wrong, not an expensive case but very adequate for it’s purposes. I have used them to make key fobs, and they work very well for my purposes.

True 8mm in size. Work great!
