Stretch Armstrong is a great toy and last long if you treat it with a bit of care and dont overstretch it. Our is over one year old and ...yes does show signs of use and some discolouration but still be played with.

The first one was split on the arm so ordered a replacement and all supplied quickly. Returning the damaged item was easy.

oh god, my son was so delighted. One of his "friends" destroyed his other version, and this was a bought as a kind of chance birthday surprise. I'm so glad I risked it because he was so pleased with it.....especially the fact it was so much bigger than his original Stretch....we had got him some other stretch toys and these had been ignored until Giant Stretch arrived and suddenly they were all 'rediscovered'.....he was actually more pleased with this than the other things he had asked for....its really nice in these virtual/computer days to actually find a physical toy that is so satisfactory.....have to admit I've even had a few goes during particularly stressful times!

I grew up with the 90's Stretch Armstrong and I absolutely loved them. I collected them all, kept them all in perfect condition through my childhood and still have them on display (they were my childhood favourite toys). I was delighted to hear of his return going back to his original design and decided to get him for old times sake! Hes great looking (perhaps the face is missing a few minor paint details the original 70's version had) but its fantastic to own this. i could never afford an original and even custom fan made versions can be pretty pricey so this release feels like a great way to own a little piece of history at a very affordable price. With any luck they might do Stretch Monster and Evil X-Ray next and i would absolutely get them! I hope a new generation will love Stretch in the same way i did (Some kids are actually capable of looking after their toys!)

This was high up my sons wish list for Christmas it was all good fun for him at 7 years old he enjoyed and his little brother did too. But his slightly older cousins came around 10 and 12 they wanted to see what the limit was and they broke him, it started leaking a kind of gel stuff which having no idea what that was or weather it was safe for the kids i removed the toy. Its good in theory but very heavy for younger kids and too much of a tempting thing for the older ones it was busted within 4 weeks of having it.

Got this along with the 7 inch version. It stretches real goddarn far. Everybody loves playing with it even my grandma. Came early a few hours before. Im defo gonna get more.
