I absolutely love these straws; the packaging was so beautiful, making them a perfect option for a gift; the colour coded tips are both useful and subtle and the cleaning brushes are crucial.I bought these because I wanted to protect my teeth from tea stains and I don't want to be using toxic plastic for all of my other drinks either. I chose glass over stainless steel or silicon because I wanted them to be chemical free and to be able to see that the insides of the straws were clean after each use.On first using them, I realised how my habit of chewing straws while I drink is going to have to end; you have to rethink how you rest the straw in your mouth without using teeth, especially with hot drinks but by the second or third drink, you'll have a new habit.If there were some sort of silicon clip to put on the edge of the glass/mug with some sort of loop or half-loop, to rest the straw in and prevent clattering, I would also buy that. For now, I've bent a plastic paperclip to do the job.

These straws have been a bit hit with family and guests alike - but I'm down to just two now because the others broke when dropped. They survived being used daily and the dishwasher no problem, but in my opinion they broke quite easily - once just being in a glass that was knocked over. My mother in law went ahead and bought two sets after seeing mine because they are aesthetically pleasing - but I certainly wouldn't let the children use them.

Good glass straws. Have lasted well. It's worrying at first to think of glass straws, but once you get them you feel there's no danger of them breaking from normal use. The brushes that come with them clean them well.

After two uses the top of the straw has broken, it seems there may be a weak point where to coloured glass is fused to the clear part.

Well made, Easy to clean, sturdy, looks great and good for the environment.

I ordered five boxes for a cocktail party I am hosting for a hen party. I have only opened one just to check them and they are more beautiful than I expected. Once we've used them I'll update. Promised update. These straws were a hit! There is just something so elegant about a glass straw. Then the washing up, which wasn't done until the morning 😮, but they washed up beautifully so we will be using them again at the next cocktail party but first we need to recover! Wish I had taken a photo of the straws in the cocktails.

I am recovering from cancer treatments and changing my life style, one of them being drinking warm lemon water in the morning which I can feel damaging my teeth , so my nutritionist advised me to buy myself some glass straws to protect them , also I drink lots of smoothies now and green juices so I was thrilled with these brilliant straws , they are beautiful , very strong , they look pretty on display and serve my purpose brilliantly , thankyou so much I am thrilled , also arrived very quickly :)

I've only just received them and have used 1 for my breakfast smoothies. They seem robust and what's nice is that you can see if they are clean after cleaning them with the provided brushes. I was going to buy the stainless steel ones but my husband pointed out that I wouldn't be sure if they were clean or not. Anyways, I'm sure there will be a breakage at some point, but I can just order some more. Please note that they are thicker straws than the plastic or paper ones you can buy, but the health/ecological benefits far outweigh this.
