Much better than most, others were flimsy and not built to last, this is way better than those..

This winch is superb fitted to my trailer, it's pulled quads up onto bed of traier with ease, holds any cargo solidly, well worth the very good price and excellent quality product

I bought this to lift a small tree out of a planter, and I did this directly overhead so it was a direct pull. Initially it went well, but when I found the tree had sent out roots in to the ground, where I had to lift the tree enough to expose them, in tensioning this up there was a failure of the sprung ratchet mechanism, which occurred because the ratchet teeth deformed.I don't know what 'weight' that tension would have approximated to, but I was surprised to see how soft the gear teeth were, and because of this, the ratchet mechanism rotated, which it should not have done.I'm not marking this right down for this as suspect this was over its design strain, however I think for such an import element (in effect the brake/hold), that component should have been hardened. This is no doubt why this is a lower cost winch .. but is definitely not 'heavy duty'.

An item that will be pleased to recamed. Great tool.

Es un modelo que funciona muy bien, salvo que sea necesario un tope de seguridad durante operación de despliegue de la cinta. El tope de seguridad funciona bien. SIn embargo, he tenido que devolverlo porque la base es muy grande para la ubicación que tengo (no existen detalles al respecto en la web del artículo). Importante, si decides comprarlo es un buen modelo y a buen precio, pero ten en cuenta que la manivela requiere que sea ubicando en esquina o ésta tropezará con la pared,
