VonHaus Rotary Tools and Accessory Kits - Dremel Compatible (550W)

This is a good, sturdy set with so many bits and pieces it will handle pretty much most jobs. I use it for making, adjusting, repairing, bonding items together, and sanding and drilling lots of different projects and household diy. The flexi attachment is very useful and adapts to most of what I need to do with it. The small parts and small attachments come in a sturdy box. The entire set together is very good value and I would happily say to any DIYer or repair person that this is a good set to get.

Multitool works well enough, does what it says on the box. I had to cut out an access panel with water pipes behind with mine, did the job OK. Comfortable to use and not too heavy. Dust collection means less mess to clean up later. All in all a nice bit of kit.My only gripe is why, with all the bits and pieces supplied is there no plastic storage box supplied (or even available to purchase seperately) when the smaller multitool is supplied with one. The cheap cardboard packing in the box won’t last long. How about one? Would have had 5 stars if one was available.

This is quite a good tool with lots of power in the motor.It does what it's supposed to do, if it is used properly, and it's not a tool that should be abused by any form of rough handling.With proper handling and proper maintenance, this tool should give a whole lot of really good service.In fact, I love it.

Bought this in 2017 used about 5 times now cuts off after 10sec. Now useless will try and get it replaced or refund under consumer protection.Update :- emailed Amazon customer services got a reply back in about 5 mins. Informing me my request for a refund had been accepted😍love Amazon. Product 1 out of 5 Amazon 6 😀

Bought to do one job which I completed after trying machine to check accuracy. This is fine if you are not expecting precision accuracy, collet bearings have play in them so you have to allow for the wobble.The trammel bar has a plastic fulcrum which is not accurate. For general DIY is ok, if you want accuracy upgrade to a quality plunge router.

Amazing piece of kit. Almost too powerful for its size. Does everything and more than I hoped it would. It really is a multi tool with the added bonus of a routing machine. Incredible value for money.

The depth gauge on my unit wouldn't lock properly; This caused the saw to creep down over time.Additionally, and I assume as part of this issue, it was impossible to change the plunge depth with any precision - it wouldn't move at all, and then would suddenly drop.The mount itself has a lot of play in it; What should be a straight line often became a bit wavey in places due to the play in the mount.Finally, on the third use, the baseplate snapped; On inspection, it's made of incredibly cheap metal; due to a monumentally poor bit of design, eventually broke under it's own vibration.Why you'd put a screwmount through the thinnest part of the baseplate is utterly beyond me. That's either incompetent design, or an intentional measure to limit the lifespan.Unfortunately, this all happened well outside the return period, so I guess I'm stuck with a tool that can't do half it's functions, and for the other half I already have a (better for the task) Dremel.
