Vita Liberata Phenomenal Mousse

Outrageously good. Horribly priced. I love this stuff. Have tried dozens of tanning mousses - Au courant, St tropez, Cocoa Brown, Famous Dave's, etc. My holy grail check list is:1) Good final colour2) The final colour lasts well3) The final colour does not wear off in patches4) Dries quickly5) Colour guide (ie the tint in the mousse) is good6) Non dyring7) NO odour.So far only two tanning mousses out of the dozens tried get close to meeting this list. They are All My Eternity and This Bita Liberata pHenomenal. Both have great colour guide (though All My Eternity a bit better), both give a great, non-orange, natural looking tan, both wear well, and both are non-drying on the skin. Regarding odour, All My Eternity is better than average (compare the cheap stink of St Tropez, anyone?!) - but it still has a fake tan smell.Now there are two areas where the Vita Liberata wins:1) It has NO smell. I mean ZERO smell. I react badly to perfumes and dislike the fake tan smell And this has niether. It is a miracle!!! The "odour capture" technology really does work. The lack of smell means I will happily wear this just before bed without having unpleasant smells all night.2) It dries SUPER fast. In comparison the All My Eternity is still tacky after 1 hour and actually runs (!) if you sweat a bit up to 6 hours later. You can wear this and dress 3 minutes later. Amazing.So it gets a great fat tick on all my boxes: great initial colour, great colour guide, good lasting tan (I use 2 coats, 12 hours apart, of the DARK mousse on fully exfoliated skin - the exfoliation and repeat application are crucial), non drying, few chemicals, NO odour and SUPER quick drying.But I debated long and hard whether to give this only our stars. And that is because it has one major flaw:THE PRICE. Seriously? £25 for 125 ml. Even St Tropez and All my Eternity (high end stuff) is half the price at £21 for 250 ml.So here is my conclusion. Stupidly expensive. BUT YES!!!! IT IS WORTH IT as it is the BEST tan mousse on the market.

Pricey? Yes, however you get what you pay for. You MUST make sure that you exfoliate completely a couple of times before using it other wise you will get patchy skin as your older skin flakes off - this could be why people have been posting less favourable reviews. I find it really quick and easy to use and the fade from this product is what you are paying for. Unlike any other on the market, when you stop using it you get a gradual fade and not a blotchly, patchy fade. The colour of the tan is very realistic, not at all orange and I normally apply 3 coats initially over 3 days then top up once a week. I use a tanning mitt usually but as product is used up very quickly due to this I'm going to be trying latex gloves for my next batch. It also doesn't smell like fake tan (which I can't stand!) and dries instantly so no transference.I work as a makeup artist and have used every product on the market with my clients and this is by far the best.

This skin tan goes on beautifully. It is coloured so you can see where you’ve been. Massage it in well, but use a tanning mit, as the stain is instant and very hard to remove!! (I learned the hard way!!!). It is immediately dry. Gradually fades after about two weeks. I’ve only put one layer on. It may last longer if you use more?!

I use fake tan weekly and have tried loads of different brands from the cheaper ones on the market to the more expensive like fake bake, I prefer mouse to lotions as it dries almost instantly. I was excited when I saw this product advertised as I never feel that my tan lasts more than 2 days and usually have to apply it on the Thursday and Friday to get it dark enough for the weekend, this product is very expensive but I didnt mind paying this if it did what it says on the box but after trying it Im dissapointed. I ordered the dark one and after one coat its barely visable the next day after showering, after applying a second coat the following night it was a better colour but lasted maybe 3 days!!! The only good thing about it was that it doesnt have the usualy strong fake tan smell but its not worth paying all this extra money for. I do shower twice daily as I exercise every day so dont know if that affected the colour lasting but Its not like I was exfoliating inbetween applications.

Definitley not a 2 - 3 tan. Sure it looks niceand nosmelk but washes off and if you do as per instructions rince with water after after so many hours all it does is rince your tan off! My pump bottle is non functioning after 3 applicactions . Dont waste your money 70$ is way too much for a product that doesn't work as it says.

Je m'en sert depuis deux ans, laisse pas d'odeur, fait bronzer mais en mode hyper naturel, ce truc est mon tour de magie pour rester au top bronzée toute l'année, les gens croient que j'ai des origines d'Amérique du sud 😂

Note I hate writing reviews and never take the time but this product deserves it!in no way do I benefit from this review but being a pale white lifetime searcher for a natural fake tan I want to share!i bought the light one first and it really did nothing when I showered the next day so i read reviews and everyone said buy the dark.i am not one looking for a dark tan just want a pretty light glow!bingo this truely is so good!everyone comments on how natural it looks so here’s how I do it.1 shower and exfoliate2 rub it on and be generous (I save my feet face and hands for last and you can’t mess it up3 five minutes later I wear clothes to bed because it will get on sheets but washes out early4 next morning I shower and it doesn’t streak or anything just a very natural glowI apply to my hands feet and face with an old makeup brush and to be even pickier I use sea breeze and a cotton ball to clean my palms,between fingers and nail beds.Only cons I find is you can’t do it and go out that night so plan your tanPrice is a little high but way cheaper than a spray tan.i get about a months worth of tan from one bottle.it does last almost a week so I do it every Sunday night!It fades so well alsoI use the glove and after I finish my body I do my face with the left over foam on my glove.I haven’t figured out how to go a little darker or how to add more color but if you just want a light pretty tan buy it today

Il migliore che abbia mai provato. Il colore non è per niente aranciato, ma quasi verdastro e sulla pelle dà un bellissimo marrone naturale. Se voglio un risultato più strong mi basta applicarne una dose più generosa o fare più passaggi nei giorni successivi e non c'è assolutamente il rischio di sembrare un Umpa Lumpa.La consistenza è quella di una schiuma che si applica in maniera omogenea. Io uso dei normali guanti in lattice e viene benone lo stesso, senza lasciare strie o macchie. Consiglio di esfoliare bene la pelle e togliere ogni residuo di creme/lozioni prima dell'applicazione, ma una volta mi sono dimenticata e ho messo la crema idratante qualche ora prima di applicarlo e l'abbronzatura è venuta bene comunque! Non bisogna farsi spaventare da eventuali macchie date dal colore guida, perché si sciacquano via senza lasciare traccia, sia dalla pelle che dai vestiti.Argomento vestiti e lenzuola: il colore guida può lasciare qualche macchia, ma va via subito al 1º lavaggio. Io faccio così: doccia con scrub, no crema idratante, autoabbronzante, mi rivesto e vado a dormire. La mattina dopo metto a lavare le cose che ho macchiato (ma non sempre succede) e mi faccio una doccia per levare il colore guida. Crema idratante, mi vesto e BOOM abbronzatura perfetta.
