Ginger Lily Farms Botanicals Conditioner Gallon, Coco Mango, 128 Fluid Ounce

I love their products, but some of the scents aren’t for me which is to be expected. This one smells more like milk right before it’s expiration to me. There is no mango scent, it’s all coconut/milk. I’ve almost bought all the scents to try so here are my ratings so far:Apple and Pear 9/10 (smells like apples more than pears, but leaves a nice scent in the hair)Ocean Breeze 1/10 (even out of the container it smelled like a watered down mixed drink)Island Tranquility 7/10 (aloe scent)Citrus 8/10 (smells exactly like oranges if you’re into that)Coco Mango 1/10 (scent reminded me of milk right before it goes bad)

I was trying to save some plastic by buying this large bottle of conditioner. I tried to fill a smaller empty bottle I had with it but the conditioner is so thick, it does not pour. I tried shaking it upside down and squishing the bottle. Finally a small blob dropped out and missed falling into the smaller container. I was not able to get more out. Total waste of money and effort and plastic.

I ordered this conditioner along with the shampoo. They were shipped separately and both were laid on their sides with not enough packing materials and both boxes arrived wet with shampoo/conditioner. The shampoo also had mold in the lid (not sure if it is safe to use). They smell ok to me but I am concerned that there is fragrance rather than essential oil used. After cleaning up the mess and reading more reviews I am concerned with some of the ingredients. I have not tried it yet so I will reserve my opinion about product use and effectiveness for a later update.

I wanted to love this product. It smells great, the price is right, the ingredients are good. But after using it for three weeks, my hair has become terribly dry, especially at the ends. It feels like dry straw. It is suddenly very damaged. I'm using the same shampoo I always use.

I had such high hopes for this product. I was excited to find a company producing vegan bath products in bulk-size packaging at such a competitive price point (for reference, this is $0.02 cheaper per ounce than Whole Foods 365 brand shampoo and conditioner products, which are the cheapest I'd found up to this point).I really liked the scent of the conditioner but was disappointed that it's not confirmed phthalate-free (just listed as "fragrance" on the ingredients list). Despite that, I gave it a try and was really surprised to find that my hair was sticky and waxy after washing. I've never experienced this with any other conditioner product before. Even after attempting 3 more washes, I had the same residue issue in my hair. I just can't use it anymore. Super disappointed it didn't work out!
