I like the product and packaging. Love the way it makes my skin feel.

I have no idea whether all those ingredients make the price appropriately as high as it is.. but it isn't worth it to me. I like the oil, but I don't see the benefit over very inexpensive oil.

I, above all else, look for "clean" ingredients when purchasing makeup and skincare products. This Organic Nourishing Oil is my first experience with the Mojave Desert Skin Shield brand. It comes securely packaged in a white box with subtle text and branding. The bottle itself is frosted and opaque black glass with silver labeling and pertinent information. It is topped with a dropper dispenser. The packaging looks nice and is functional but because of its opacity, you can't see how much product you have left until it's gone. Also, I would expect the packaging to be a bit more elevated to be in line with the product's higher price.I have added this face oil to my morning and evening skincare routine. The instructions say that this can be used as a cleanse, serum, or both! Because of its price and diminutive amount of product, I use it sparingly after cleansing.I like the way that this product performs. I tend to have quite dry skin, especially in the colder months and am a big fan of facial oils in general. This oil has a light texture that absorbs quickly and makes my skin feel very nourished. It has a very subtle and natural scent. This oil layers nicely with my other skincare and makeup products.I'm really happy with this facial oil. As an aside, this brand offers beautiful clothing and handbags that I will be perusing!

I have tried a lot of different brands of face oils and this one quickly became one of my favorites. The oils they use a super-high quality and that is why this is such an expensive oil. The scent is totally natural and from the oils. There is no artificial perfume added. If you are not used to natural oils this might be a new scent for you. That might be why the one reviewer said they didn’t care for the scent (maybe they are used to perfumes and not natural oils).The scent is earthy, herbal, and exotic. I really smell the rosemary which I adore. It is well balanced with real lemon and also has a bit of floral undertones. There is absolutely no rancidity smell. It smells very fresh!HOW IT FEELSThis is definitely a full-bodies face oil and exactly what I wanted. I use it before bedtime and I rub it deeply into my face, neck, and chest. I love to add a little spray of rose hydrosol after rubbing it in. By morning, I feel like my face is so hydrated and vibrant.COLORThis has a beautiful golden color which is from the natural oilsFINAL NOTES:Mojave Desert says it is located in Joshua Tree, California, USA. The address listed is a USPS office, so that is not actually where the product is made. That is a little strange that they make it out to be their factory location, so I have to agree with that other reviewer (that seems like their not really being honest). So where is it actually made??? It does say “Made in the USA”This is definitely a 5-star product and I am 100% satisfied with it.The normal price for this product is $60, but I noticed Amazon has it on temporary discount for $12!!! That is a total bargain in my opinion!!! The expiration date is January 2024, so no worries about getting an old product. This is freshly made and I am definitely going to grab another bottle.100% satisfied for sure!!!!

This is a lovely oil. Unfortunately, the product I received was an obvious return as there was a seal on the box and it had been cut. Not a loose seal, not a seal that might have lifted with the heat (it has been well over 100 degrees F here). But a seal that had been cut with a scissors or knife. I didn't take any stars off because this has nothing at all to do with the brand; the product was sent to me by Amazon. If this had not been a Vine product, I would have sent it right back. Of course, I have no intention of using this on my face but I was very curious to try this oil, so I did do a series of spot-tests on my arms and since there were no issues, I decided to give it a try. I have been using this on my hands, elbows and feet and it is very effective at relieving my dry, cracked skin. I only need a small amount -- a few drops each hand or elbow and a bit more for my feet. It has a fairly strong fragrance that I like although it may not appeal to everyone. The oil feels thick and rich and takes a short time to absorb (it is definitely not a dry oil) and it doesn't cause any irritation. It seems very heavy to be used as a facial oil, at least in the daytime. It might be better used at night and sparingly. The current price of $60.00 for a one ounce bottle seems a bit high, although the ingredients do seem to be of top quality. I like using this as a body oil, and I wish it was a bit more affordable. The price is the only reason I gave this product four stars instead of five.
