Fit my Ac unit nicely! Though some instructions would’ve been nice!
TLDR: This is a good fit for my AC unit, works great, is made out of decent materials and looks really nice in our room! The only thing is there are no directions, so you may need to look up some videos on installation. It’s not too complicated but instructions would’ve saved a bit of time!I really do like this vent kit for our AC unit, it looks really nice and works great! I haven’t had a proper vent tube for this AC for years, since I got it secondhand. As you can see by my last pictures I made my own setup work for us, which was a dryer tube and EVA foam and duct tape! And honestly this worked wonders, but it’s super nice to have a decent looking vent tube now and be able to take it on and off easily as needed! The setup was definitely confusing bc there were no instructions at all whatsoever. It’s really not too complicated but if you have never put together a vent tube before, then of course you would be a little lost at first, so I did dock off a star for this. But I found that if you scroll to the bottom of this item listing you can find related videos linked that helped me a lot! I watched some of those and a few on YouTube just to make sure I did it correctly. The only other thing I don’t like is there is a pretty significant gap once this vent is installed in the window. Significant enough that within the hour of install the temperature in our room rose three degrees. They include foam tape which is supported to be used to install it more permanently by putting the foam on your window to seal it. However I do not want this tube and my AC installed permanently as it really doesn’t keep heat out and isn’t a good insulator. So I took the foam piece and put them together to make my own little inserts! I put them together and pulled them apart at one section in order to pull all the sticky glue off and make these removable! I just shove them in when I decide to put the vent in the window and use the AC that day. This way this unit and vent are never permanently installed and won’t let heat in when I’m not using the unit! I will have to use more of my EVA foam later to make a better barrier if I want to use it often. Keep that in mind, if you aren’t using it daily, it will get hot in your room bc the plastic is thin! It works for my unit though and I am happy with it in general after making my alterations!

Comes with no instructions.
This came with no directions so I'm not sure I installed it correctly. But It would have been fairly easy if I did not have to cut the bottom ends of the window plate to a curve( very hard to do with an box cutter) to match my camper window casing. I then attached the cut off curved edges to the top of the window plate so it would match the window curve.. After installing I think I may have installed the window plate reversed so I may take it apart and redo it, I'm not sure if the flat side goes facing out or in. In all, directions sure would have saved me time and frustration, but the kit is of good quality plastic and the tubing seems just as good if not a little better than my old one.

Exactly what I needed.
Our old set for the portable a/c was starting to deteriorate. The metal wiring in the hose was visible and starting to fray. It was impossible to fix it.This set came with everything I needed to ge the a/c up and going. The hose was easy to install with the internal grate. The only problem I had ( more a user issue than product) was the window seal. It didn’t sit well in the windowsill and allowed hot air to be blown back. It took a lot of the insulation foam to get that to decrease. It wasn’t eliminated, but significantly reduced.Pros: it had the window seal vent for a vertical and horizontal type of sill. Came with the double sided tape to stabilize the window vent to the window. Came with insulation foam to wrap around the window vent and pad the windows.Cons: had to use YouTube to see how to properly install it.Would recommend if it actually fits your machine.

Exactly what I needed to connect my portable AC to my sliding window
This vet kit worked exactly as advertised. I was able to adjust the window plate to the exact height needed for my sliding window. This kit allowed me to keep the outside air from entering the room and provided a good seal preventing any hot exhaust air from the AC unit remaining in the room. I really liked that insulation foam tape was included to make a good seal.
