Kärcher Spray Bottle and Microfiber Cloth Kit for Window Vac Accessory

Great gadget. I got this for my mum as she saw mine and wanted one. It saves the necessity of having a sloppy cloth and bucket and rubber gloves. You just spray this on the window, rub it around and buff up with a dry cloth. You don't get wet and nor do the window sills and it is really quick. You don't need a Karcher gadget either as you can also use with just a dry cloth, kitchen roll or an old fashioned squeegy! I have used mine with window cleaner solution, washing up liquid solution and just plain water for a quick touch up. The cloth bit comes off easily and goes in the washing machine as well. I have two cloths so that I have one for inside which doesn't get too dirty and then an outside one but obviously does get filthy. Would definitely recommend.

This simple device is ideal for use with Karcher Window Vac, and though windows may be washed with a variety of products it makes sense to use Karcher glass cleaner concentrate. If this is kept minimal it is still highly efficient as it has highly effective wetting properties. Filling with water and concentrate is straightforward, and there is a simple trigger action to spray liquid on surfaces. A removable cloth cleaning pad is provided which is readily fixed for use, and removed for washing and rinsing. The Karcher spray bottle and cleaner cloth deserves a 5-star rating for efficiency and effectiveness.

Does the job but tends to leak from the cap unless held upright. Spray is below the pad so liquid tends to run down before you've had chance to use the pad and also over hand and arm. Would be better if spray was above cleaning pad.

Although I find this sprayer very good, it did suffer a leakage problem if tipped at an angle as it leaked through the threaded top, as mentioned by a previous reviewer.This I successfully overcame by taking the bottle top to a local diy store and purchased a rubber 'o' ring to match the diameter of the bottle neck---problem solved, although I am surprised that Karcher doesn't fit this part in production, perhaps they will if they read this. The outcome now is that it works very well.

I have wondered because of the cost whether to buy this for over a year now since getting the Karcher Window Vac. I wish I hadn't waited at all. This works really well. Why is it better than a cloth? It applies far less liquid to the window, the microfibre head has two weaves one part being rougher to remove more difficult grime, and the Karcher fluid seems to work really well - all making the whole process very easy and efficient. Highly recommended.

Don't know how we managed without this spray, the cleaning pads and the cleaning concentrate. We have had a window vac for some time but just used a damp sponge on the glass before sucking the water away. This spray makes cleaning windows so easy, effective and a great deal better than some of the guys who come round with a ladder! All items are very highly recommended.

First impression: The Instruction/Construction sheet : Though this has very clear diagrams for what appeared to be a very simple item I couldn't decipher the drawing of the collar until I found it wrapped inside the microfibre cloth. My next problem was getting the 'head' to 'Click' into the collar - a totally frustrating failure, so far.Second impression : once assembled, my immediate thought was that the microfibre cloth would be presented at a poor angle - reaching above shoulder height means that only the bottom edge of the pad is presented to the window - and the only part of the pad which is supported is the central strip. The obvious solution would be to invert the unit but this will make the spray useless.First observation : This was bought to replace my 20-odd year old similar unit which is falling apart. This old contraption has a cylindrical pad - the core being synthetic 'sponge' which is now disintegrating- and by its very design it presents a 'firm' surface to the window regardless of height reached above or below shoulder height.Just how robust the spray's trigger will prove to be, I'm not sure.I bought this based on the quality of my Kärcher Window Vac and Power Washer. By comparison, this unit appears to be poorly designed and of mediocre material quality.These comments are my initial observations straight from the box - it isn't wet yet ! Only time will tell, in which case I will amend after some use.

I wasn't aware of this part of the 'kit' when I bought my Karcher. It just came with a squiggy and pole. This makes all the difference! Well worth the expense!! No more soggy arms. The solution is so concentrated, although it's a small bottle, I managed to do most of my house with it and we have a lot (!) of glass, including a glass staircase. The fleece is thick enough to keep on cleaning for a long time without having to rinse it. Windows are now sparkling in a very short time with really minimal effort. Plus you don't have to keep emptying the reservoir of the Karcher itself.
