Q: Can it be screwed into a composite door

I don't see why not as i have seen security chains fitted to composite doors.

Q: Found this on a door with no key. want to remove it but screws are hidden under the sliding piece that slots in. any idea where i can get key ? thks

Had the same problem lost the keys but cheaper to buy a new one, easiest way I found to get access to the hidden screw, get a flat head screwdriver put it under where the metal is hiding the screw then bend it upwards. Do it a few times then the metal will give, you can then get to the screw. Hope this helps

I had great trouble getting the key in the lock filed tip of the key to a point and used good quality oil down the barrel. Would recomend spending more on a better quality product.
