This product is absolutely brilliant if you have a lovely living room but there is something missing. We had the living room redecorated and carpets cleaned. The fireplace was made up of a red brick surround and a dusty looking collection of grey yellow fake logs and a black metal grate. Christmas was coming. So I thought I do not want any upheaval, just a makeover. Being highly creative I thought of a high quality photograph to fill the gap. It arrived in a solid packaging tube. I cut the photograph to size and using the self adhesive backing, stuck it to a cut to size hardboard backing. Now we have an atmospheric living room that looks like the real deal. Thinking of getting a bigger one of sea-scape for garden room. Everyone should be buying one. It was about half the size of what you would expect from the picture although to be fair the measurements given in the description are correct.It was also harder to apply to the wall than I expected. It may just be that I was new to the wall decal experience, but I ended up with a lot of wrinkles and bubbles towards the bottom. We hid them with presents and decoration and have now just removed it altogether. I still think its a neat idea but probably won't do it again.

I put it on the wall of a bedroom to make it look like there was a real fireplace there.I added a home-made "surround" to complete the illusion.It looks great.I joke to my friends that I ordered a fireplace but only got a picture of a fireplace.(Don't forget to let paper rolled up in a tube expand for 48 hours before putting it on a wall.)

Ordered this for a bedroom where I want a fake fire. The sticker came in a strong cardboard tube and was in excellent condition. The photo itself is really good quality and completely matches the photo shown on Amazon . I haven't applied it yet but it seems straightforward as long as you are putting it on a smooth surface. It is going to look excellent inside my fire surround. Extremely life like from a distance and will create the centre piece I'm looking for. I wouldn't hesitate in buying another.
