These carpet runners are really good quality after receiving the first one I decided to send for another one the reason being is they don't slip they absorb a lot of the wet from outside off humans that wipe their feet unfortunately my dog is not one of them but if I make him stay on the mat for a minute or two that helps plus having a gate to stop him running straight into the house helps big time. My old rugs when you wiped your feet made the threads look scruffy and looked dirty quicker but these new runners look clean and don't show their wet maybe because of the pattern and there so easy to hover without sucking the rug up. I have laminate floors throughout and in this weather my dog will go out into the garden onto the wet muddy grass come back through the patio door over the nice clean laminate kitchen floor then straight into the living room if I don't catch him first its a nightmare to keep clean. So because my downstairs is open plan I have invested now in 2 runners andplaced them in an L shaped position in the kitchen and purchased a safety gate so he doesn't go any further until he dries his paws. I am so pleased I bought these runners a bargain price and they arrived so quick and I like the colour and pattern looks well against the laminate floor. I think these runners would work even better if I could train my dog to wipe his feet instead of just standing there lol.

Had searched all over the internet for a cheap dirt trapper mat for my boiler room as that is where we bring our dog in & out for her walks. It looks lovely on the tiled floor and does not move around. So far muddy paws & muddy wellies are being swallowed up by the surface and a quick vacuum is bringing up the pile and all the dried mud. I had thought I might need to wash it in the near future, but having read other reviews and looking at the product by doing this in a domestic washing machine you would have to fold it and this could split the edging so I have decided to leave well alone and maybe in the warmer months just scrub it outside, if I ever needed another I would not hesitate in getting one from this supplier again..

I have bought a lot of these mats and runners over the past year, for my dad who has dogs and my home with 4 children. They are great. I don't find too much slippage with them although you have to allow for a little on a wooden floor. The only reason for the 4 and not 5 is that it arrived a day late. But, that really doesn't detract from the fact that I really do highly recommend this; all of the dirt really does stay on the runner. With a busy household that's all you can ask for.

Very happy and pleased with this purchase. The two mats side by side cover the floor of my utility room perfectly, and keep muddy paws to a minimum. The mats do not slip about and definitely make the room feel more cosy - which is nice for my dog and cats who stay in this room when I am out at work. Really good price compared to other companies and arrived very well packaged. Highly recommend this purchase to others.

Bought four of these altogether due to our 10yr old Rottweiler slipping on the laminate. These are fantastic. They don't move and even feel nice under barefoot. They look nice too and have brought confidence and "life to the old dog" I originally bought one due to the cost to see if they were any good but to be honest they're 100% better than the one I paid three times as much for as I had to get something to stop it slipping around. Also because they have some weight to them they vacuum easily. A definite recommend.

This was a great price, our puppy was slipping on our wooden floors, wood floors are bad news for any dog, mates dog ran slipped both back legs went into a spilt, needed hip op, very painful for the dog and the wallet, if not insured.This matts smart, looks good, great shade, will not show up the dirt as other matts would. I am going to buy 4 more, one for by the door when you come in with the muddy feet.I am back again to say that after 4 years of use these carpets runners from QPC Direct are still looking like NEW!!

Excellent carpet: practical colour; rubber backing not only stops the wet from seeping through and protects the floor underneath from getting damaged, but also stops the carpet from rolling up, crimpling and generally sliding on the floor. Perfect size for double-door in our conservatory. Excellent value. Excellent customer service. Couldn't be happier.
