Brilliant thanks I used this for my caravan 600watts of solar panels to power my television and charges of my mobile phone

Having read the impressive specification for the LuyuanPower 2000W pure sine wave inverter and the review by gistamboulie I decided to buy one of these inverters. High spec - low cost !I received the inverter promptly from Amazon but on opening the box I found that the 4 spare fuses and the instructions were missing. 2 cables (one black and one red) were included - these are 16mm2 and only 50cms long)I connected the inverter up to my fully charged 12 volt battery being careful to observe the correct polarity. (I am an electrical engineer)As soon as the connection was made there was a load “crack” and smoke was emitted from the fan grill - I have now returned it to Amazon who promptly refunded my payment.I ordered another 2000 watt inverter and this time the inverter powered up without a problem. There are 4 fuses, 2 leads and an instruction leaflet in the box. However the instruction leaflet does not show how to replace the fuses. There is no UK address on the leaflet or manufacturer’s details listed on Amazon as to where to send goods for repair after the 12 month guarantee by Amazon. I have only connected small loads to the Inverter but it seems to work O.K. The “no load” current from the battery is 1.8 amps.p.s. Overall length is 440 mm not 400 as stated by manufacturer.

Haven't used to power anything too demanding yet but it works fine

Great bit of kit got it in my camper van, running my 3 way fridgeno problem and it runs my portable ice maker all works as it should do.

Finally, an inverter that generates pure sine wave.We use the device with a 12 volt generator, which makes 90 amps and powered by a car batteryEverything works as intended with this device.As to performance..... it worked impressively well. The cooling is automatic and only comes when is needed. It has a very nice digital display that gives you voltage and amps input output which is useful to know. Low input voltage protection works very well protected battery going flat on a number of occasions. This is high quality device at an amazing price!Yep....a good buy.....when I was a marine engineer rule of thumb for Inverter costs was a pound a watt....so just a few years ago this power would have cost at least £500.
