Kingfisher BF027 Green Standard Bird Nut Feeder, Transparent, 7.6x8.5x28 cm

I have some quite substantial sunflower heart feeders and recently had a brief visit from a Nuthatch, wanting it to visit again I looked up what they like to eat and unsurprisingly it’s nuts! So I purchased this bird feeder to add to my offerings in the hope it will return. I’m going to be honest I didn’t want to spend a lot, and at less than £5 I thought it was worth a punt.It is ‘as advertised’ but it is a budget feeder, the plastic doesn’t look very durable and the metal looked like it would bend easily. I filled it with peanuts which added a bit of strength to it and hung it out. So far no Nuthatch, but my regular sparrows love it. Despite it not appearing very strong it is doing its job no problem and at such a low price I am very happy.

This is a nice feeder it do`s the job it should do the only thing about it is that the top is a bit flimsy & dos`nt stay on very well.

I have never had to write a review in which I advise this product be withdrawn from sale because of such terrible quality. It was the most flimsy, thin plastic hanger possible, totally unsuitable for purpose. I honestly think there could not be a worse product for sale than this. I would advise nobody to buy it, a total waste of money and course the birds will go hungry !!!

Easy to hang and refill and seems sturdy enough to last.

Very plasticky

I put suet pellets in this and the blue tits and great tits keep coming back for more, so it must be easy to use. The robin sometimes has a go, but tends to pick up the bits that drop out or which I scatter.I understand that April - September, when the chicks are born, it's not a good idea to use peanuts as they can choke.Pellets are easily accessible in this feeder and have attracted a few bird families, plus other birds who seek the crumbs, like pigeons and blackbirds. It's better suited to the smaller birds.

Wire a bit sharp but good on the whole

Literally pop the top on amd hang. I use string tied to the handle to secure it to the poles I use in my garden but it does hang nicely without this.

Le grillage est de mauvaise qualité, il n'est pas raide et peu solide, quant aux fixations plastique du couvercle, elles ne tiennent pas, s'enlèvent facilement et pour les raccrocher au grillage, il faut une sacrée patience, c(est difficile et on risque de les casser en insistant; bref, cher pour de la camelote... a déconseiller absolument!

Caro para la calidad recibida

Ce distributeur de cacahuètes pour oiseaux fait l'unanimité des visiteurs à plumes de mon jardin.... Je le trouve très facile à remplir, le grillage est un peu léger mais convient bien pour les petites pattes des mésanges qui sont folles des cacahuètes. Bonne contenance. Je recommance.
