We're going to a Gatsby themed new year's eve event so I thought some pearls would finish my costume off. I purchased a different set which looked okay in the advert but when they arrived they were very disappointing. These ones though are lovely! They are well strung, heavy and cold, just as real pearls are before they warm to the skin. I am very impressed and pleased. I highly recommend them. They arrived well packaged and earlier than expected too which was a bonus. They look lovely on too.

Looks exactly as it should. Right length, right weight. A bargain.Only problem was that Amazon told me that it had been delivered to a neighbour when it had in fact been popped though my letterbox!

Pros:* Very reasonably priced! I bought these as a Christmas present and they were under £6 with free postage. When they arrived I was very impressed with how they looked for the price.* The colour, weight and overall quality of the faux pearls is brilliant. They are advertised as flapper pearls, perhaps to appeal to people doing fancy dress for an event but these can honestly be worn every day, they're that good.* The pearls are an excellent length, you can wear them as one long string or loop them over your head for a more layered look. They sit when you loop them and don't shift or drag.Cons:* The colour of the pearls are a wee bit more creamy than ivory - but for the price it doesn't bother me a bit.* The packaging of the pearls did look a bit cheap - the plastic holder bit was a bit flimsy. This was easily amended though, I changed the packaging into a hand made box and it made the pearls look really lovely!

I thought this pearl necklace was absolutely wonderful especially when I wore them when appearing on stage performing as a female police inspector in an amateur production. They couldn't get a woman to play the part, so I just volunteered and jumped in head first and played the part and these pearls made me feel so important and dramatic.

It’s a gorgeous pearl necklace. For less than £7 and you can own this, I think you should invest to get a set to match for some occasion. I personally can’t afford a real genuine pearl necklace for £400 and above, So I bought this for very affordable price yet it goes well with my blouse and make up.

Update: Gave this as a present today; relative tried it on and it split in half scattering "pearls" everywhere. Returned for a refund.Original review: Bought this as a Christmas present for a relative. At first I was dubious about the quality as it only cost £7.99 however I am impressed. A really nice long length which is what the recipient asked for.

Wanted a simply pearl long necklace in grey faux pearl.This necklace fits the bill, very well made with cotton spacers between each pearl.Am very pleased and if I want it comes in other colours.

Cool to touch. Good weight and lovely green colour.The beads are individually cord knotted but mine were slightly loose in one particular place. This could be easily resolved though. Great long length so plenty of beads to double up.
