Drying & Styling Hair Dryer Stand

I wanted this stand for few years but reading so many mix reviews I was putting it off, I wish I didn't!!! For me it works just perfect, I have a full size but not heavy hair dryer, when I use the stand I place it on my dressing table so it's not wobbly and I can dry most of my hair without moving. Because my hands are free I can easily comb my hair while drying them, it cuts the time of drying for at least 50%. Because combing makes my hair pretty straight I don't have to use hair straightener, it's a win-win situation. I'm very happy I've decided to go for it after all I only wish I've done it some years ago.I can see how it may not work so well when hair dryer used is really heavy or when the stand is used from the floor and manipulated a lot. For how I used it, it's perfect!

It isn’t the best. You have to put it on bedside table to get it to the right side BUT a couple of years ago my disability became a thing (I didn’t have it growing up) I want to have a independent life as I can so I bought this after months of it being out of stock and it really has made a difference to drying my hair with one hand

Following a shoulder injury I was unable to hold my hairdryer. Having a hairstyle that has to be blowdried and styled I bought this hairdryer stand as I felt awful not being able to wear my hair tidily and in my normal style. After a few tries to work out the best angle and distance to dry my hair at, I found that I could style my hair perfectly.I have had no problems with the stability of the stand, the base is weighty, and I can adjust the height and it stays in place. The only thing I noticed was my normal large hairdryer sometimes needed readjusting within the grip at top of stand because the hairdryer barrel/nozzle tapered towards the end and made it a bit slippery. I have since bought a little travel hairdryer with a straight nozzle and it clips on so tight that it stays totally in position no matter how often I change the angle.I would thoroughly recommend this item.

This was a huge disappointment - the item is not strong enough to support a normal hand-held hair dryer, and kept collapsing. The extending tube does not remain extended and slides down, causing the dryer to swing precariously around. An utter waste of money.

The only downside to this product was that it arrived in a box which looked like it had been run over. When I opened it I found the metal tube/stand was damaged. Fortunately it wasnt a present for anyone and is just for my own use and it doesnt affect its use.This is ideal for anyone with muscle weakness/arthritis/fibro/or an injury who is struggling to hold a hairdryer. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but Ive found it very useful, and it has helped my independance.

I can't possibly see how this could work properly in the way it's intended. The hair dryer is supposed to balance on top of the flexible bit, so supporting the weight and yet being able to move around and it's just not strong enough. My hair dryer is a super compact Parlux that weighs about 460g-I wanted the stand because of having to lift my arms high rather than due to the weight of the dryer, but as soon as you put it on as instructed, it bends right over.We have adapted it by letting the whole top bit bend over to the side, putting the handle rather than the front of the hair dryer in the clip and the velcro and adding one of my leg weights round the base to make it more stable.It does say in the instructions not to let the flexible bit bend more than a certain angle and we are aware we are not using it as intended and risking it breaking, but as it doesn't work as intended anyway, then we thought we'd be brave and risk it breaking!!

My husband had to set this up for me as too difficult for my hands to do. Stand nice and tall and once we worked out how to put the hairdryer in it has not fallen over. A little harder to reach the control buttons on the hairdryer but not impossible. It takes a little getting use to, having to move around the stand and hairdryer instead of moving the hairdryer as previously used. It did the job, before could not hold the hairdryer at all, so big thumbs up.

I loved it when I was in high school and the dryers where on the wall. Now I can dry my hair and I don't have to keep whacking the buttons to keep the dryer on! Plus my dryer is no longer taking up counter space!

Use this always! Great for when you need both hands to work with your hair.

Now I get to brush my hair, brush my teeth, and dry my hair for work in the morning all of the same time! Make sure that when you do use this that your blow dryer is not a fairly heavy, because if it is it will tip if you accidentally bump into it, or it's manipulated the wrong way. I ended up going for lightweight dryer with mine, so that I don't have to encounter those problems.
