Brilliant scope. Great quality and value for money. Loved the fact this came with a eye piece from the supplier so could start using straight away. Would recommend this item and supplier. Brilliant service.

Super bright view. Fitted zoom 20-60 eyepiece. Great scope, solid and heavy, so once set up you can touch it and not get an eyeful of sky.

Very good typical Nikon

No eyepiece included despite response to FAQ’s on the item confirming it did. Ruined a present for my father. Not pleased

I'm new to bird watching and bought my Prostaff 5 Fieldscope as part of a secondhand Nikon digiscoping kit, mine came with two viewers (25x and 30x magnification) and the Nikon P310 camera with holder for putting it on the view finder. Great piece of kit - absolutely amazing to see birds so clearly that are impossible to see with the naked eye and difficult to make out with 10 x 25 binoculars. I've just bought another view finder (20x - 60x times zoom) - I can't wait to see how much better the views will be with this extra viewer. Definitley needs a heavy tripod to stabilise - I use a Manfrotto - it keeps the scope rock solid when looking through.Update - The 20x - 60x zoom (bought from Amazon) is fantastic!! One eye piece lets you zoom in from wide angle range to really close up (I thing the 60x zoom is equivalent of a 3000m SLR lense!) If you have the Nikon Prostaff scope you need to get the zoom as well.
