Listing not very detailed so a lesson learned.
One of the main plates had a snapped connector, all bugs didn’t work when received much to the upset of my little one but luckily I had ordered spare batteries that turned up at the same time. Even with new batteries 2 of the bugs don’t work, they look slightly rusted inside so maybe a battery had leaked previously. 1 of the plastic stands was bent so would be any good to use incase it snapped. I personally wouldn’t have listed it as very good condition and if the issues had been listed I wouldn’t have bought.

Good fun
My nine year old grandson regards this toy as "good fun" and plans to extend the track for the "creatures". The bugs themselves seem reasonably durable and although parts of the track are a bit fragile they have not yet broken, which is surprising as they have a hard life. I'm not sure how long the interest will be held as the activities they can undertake seem a little limited, from my viewpoint at least, but races and battles are extremely popular at the moment. The star ratings are my grandson's.

Hexbug Mania!
This is a great purchase if you are a big hexbug fan. The only thing that could have improved it is if the doors opened both ways and didn't lock one way. After re-arranging the Habitat into a few different combinations with the bridges, the novelty then wears off and you start to wish you had other things to add to it, but then. I guess in terms of marketing it makes it a very clever product. The fact that you pretty quickly feel the need to have more items to add to it to make it more interesting potentially means spending more money on Hexbug items! :-) Very clever indeed.

A good addition to the Hexbug Nano sets I have - a few parts seem poorly designed and lead to the bugs getting stuck. It is just a kids toy though so definitely a four star!

Good buy
Unfortunately had to return as it had already been bought as a present. Other than that, everything perfect.

A birthday gift bought for my 7 years old grandson
This was great value and it was delivered very quickly, which is a good job because I didn't have a clue what to buy my grandson until the weekend before when I overheard him saying he was getting some Hexbugs for his birthday. The box said it was from a much younger age group but I think a 3 years old would be a bit rough with it and I'm not sure it would withstand a lot of really rough play.

My grandson loved it, but....
I bought this for my grandson because he chose it but personally did not see much play value. Needless to say he loved it. It's not something that would keep him amused for very long but he did go back to it off and on. It does seem a bit flimsy so how long it will last remains to be seen. He wanted the different layouts on the box but some needed extra parts to complete.
