Sadolin2.5 Litre Extra Durable Clear Coat Satin

This stuff is good! It's pretty thick, covers well though and a good few months down the line, is still repelling water just like when it was new. Although clear, there is a note on the tin that it will give wood a slight honey colouring. This is true but not much more than a clear varnish would, in my opinion anyway. It gives wood a warn sumptuous appearance and I've received loads of comments from neighbors on how good my shed looks. My 11'x7' shed took two tins of this to cover but definitely money well spent.

I purchased this product as it was recommended by a Company (TUIN) who supplied my Log Cabin. It did the job perfectly. Easy to apply. The cost was a bonus as I was originally quoted £73 by a local supplier for 2.5 litres. Very happy with this purchase at £49 for 2.5 litres with no delivery charge! I received the product within 3 days of ordering.

Excellent but expensive - 3 x £45 for 9 x 14ft shed. Thickens gradually in use, so I added a little white spirit to maintain liquidity (+ use to keep brushes in).

Great product it goes a long way and brushes out perfectly, do not overload your brush, I did not want any more colour on the gates hence the clear Sadolin, it is an expensive product but well worth the money for the long lasting finish.

This is good stuff does not change the colour of the wood.. Wood looks great after dormer cedar board has been treated 5 months ago. It does cost a lot but you get what you pay for.

Absolutely isn’t a “clear coat”, it’s dyed the wood fence panels from a light pine to a dark brown, and the upright posts almost black. And that’s just one coat! Also very thick and not great coverage

It's not a clear coat at all. It leaves a cheap yellow finish on expensive wood. Won't use again.
