Excellent
Very good quality and versatile. Holds a DSLR style camera very well and sturdy.

Very handy, lightweight piece of kit.
Whilst a gorillapod is not really a substitute for a proper tripod, it is a fabulously versatile lightweight option for general use. Ideal for hiking and travelling when carrying a large tripod would be too much hassle. I use mine a lot for plants, fungi, landscape etc. This my second one. The first one lasted around eight years or so. After time and frequent use, the plastic wears and some of the rings will eventually split, but that is the nature of the beast.. . .

awkward but does the job
I got this for my Cannon EOS M50 to use for video capture and vlogging on the move, its night and light weight and very sturdy. (for plastic Anyway) my only problem is how hard it is to adjust, its extremely stiff and very awkward to actually get it into the correct position you want. while i do still use this as a desk tripod i no longer use it outdoors just because of the hassle. Personally some kind of "locking" mechanism would have been better than just extreme stiffness in my opinion

Doesn't wobble, sag or splay with a medium format SLR
I bought this for church/cathedral interior photography. Cathedrals don't usually allow you to use a normal tripod but if you have a Gorillapod you can place it on pews, tables, the floor, etc without any problems.I typically use a Mamiya M645 medium format camera and it has always been far too heavy for other mini tripods, which either wobble or totally collapse. I had doubts about this one but was reassured by the price, and I'm glad I bought this one. The 3K model is sufficient for my M645 and it would be fine for a DSLR or 35mm SLR with a fairly heavy lens. It's stable, doesn't wobble, doesn't splay out or sag. Yes it's not quite as solid as a "real" tripod but this is fine for taking long-exposure interior shots with a cable release.

Hard, firm and versatile
When I first got it I was a little upset I couldn’t fit my DSLR on it however you can unscrew a bit at the top. I’m sure its probably written in the instructions somewhere but I’m a man (so I don’t read Instructions). It’s very durable and holds the weight of my canon 70D with ease. I would highly recommend.

Great for lighter cameras but anything full frame I would not advise.
I bought this for use with my Song A7Rii, I was disappointed after a month the ball joints started becoming lose which made the tripod unusable as the legs would just slip out of place. It says it's rated for 3KG (3000g) and my A7Rii and Tamron 28-75 weigh under half at 1175g, despite this the tripod is unable to hold the weight of it in many situations. To fix the lose ball joints, I have had to put glue in-between the balls to make the fit more snug.
