Prestat The Rocking Horse Advent Calendar 224 g

I nototiced on arrival some or the doors were damaged I didn’t think too much off it assuming it happened in transit. I have this item as a gift and have just had a phone call telling me chocolates are missing, they opened the whole think to check. A little embarrassing for me really. Now they don’t want any of the Callander because it has been tampered with.

This is the best advent calendar out there and I get one every year for my wife.

I agree with other reviewers. The item was described as "Prestat The Finest Truffles Advent Calendar 224 g" and they are clearly NOT truffles. They are solid dark chocolate (with sea salt) and solid milk chocolate (with salted caramel flavour), and not particularly nice. I see that the product description has been changed since I ordered, but that's a bit late, considering most people would have been buying it for the beginning of December. I got mine in black Friday deals (for half price), so I can't imagine how disappointed I would have been if I'd paid full price

Arrived promptly, calendar a bit tatty, described as "Twenty-four artisan truffles enrobed in dark, milk and white chocolate wait behind their respective doors. If you struggle to limit yourself to one door a day, think about the flavours while trying to defer your gratification: Milk Nectar, Ginger Fire, Sea Salt Caramel and more." but only two flavours - and they don't exactly look like 'artisan truffles'!Particularly disappointing as I don't have time to return and get a replacement before 1 December.

I got this on offer for £8. It's a nice box with a nice story written on it. The chocolates are really nice. It says dark chocolate with sea salt and milk chocolate with caramel, however, you can taste the salt in both but no caramel in the milk chocolate. It is a nice thing to buy as a gift, but I wouldn't pay the full price.

Looked lovely but the chocolates were just average - only two types of chocolate. OK, but nothing special and I wouldn't buy it again.
