Not the best quality but does the job
The packaging is very gaudy and plasticky, as is the microscope itself. It does not inspire much confidence in its sturdiness or durability but was surprised to see that it did magnify quite well and was actually useful in several instances when pinprick-sized spots turned out to be tick nymphs.

EVERYTHING came under the microscope!! 😂🥰
Of all the big and fancy Christmas presents, this little affordable "toy" was amongst her favourites. Anything she could think of got magnified, even mummy! It was used several times throughout the day and I expect it will be something that'll be used randomly and frequently. You can actually see quite a lot. It magnifies well and clear, even uneven or tricky things like hair strands held in a hand. Really very interesting. We checked out all the different packaging textures and glittery things, carpets, clothes and what not. Great little present! Highly recommended.

Tricky to use
We found this microscope a little bit tricky to use, you have to move things about to get them to show up in the lens, the item also felt quite flimsy like it could easily break if dropped or bumped.

My 4 year old loves it
My son loves it, Great gadget for outdoor and indoor play. As soon as we got it he started looking at every single thing, his clothes (he could see the fiber on the fabric), leaves, the floor, his hand.He uses it often and we're happy with it, the only thing is that for a young child it might be hard to focus the image.

Kids microscope
The microscope is basic, but as a first instrument for inquisitive youngsters, who want to know more about what stuff is made of, it is alright.My four year old loves it and it’s easy to use for a child.

The needle wouldn’t move, making this compass useless

Great value and product
I bought four of these for school nature backpacks. We’ve had tabletop microscopes with poor or average resolution that were $50 or more. These have great resolution, are lightweight enough for young children, and the little button cell batteries (included) are covered with a screwed-on cover. We plan to order more. The value is great.

Amazon bag open and product was opened
I would like a replacement of this item as it is suppose to be a gift and was opened when received. Not happy.
