This is not water tight and after one journey on the motorway, water has seeped inside.

Fantastic really well made

Gave us so much room in the car. I’d read the reviews saying about the waterproofing of the bag so packed everything in a garden bin bag and then put it inside the roof bag. It rained quite a lot on our journey back but the stuff inside was dry thanks to the bin bag, there was water inside the bag, but it dried off ok and is stored away ready for the next trip. Bargain solution to our camping trips space issue.

**Only use on dry days**Although it says "water resistant", I'm assuming the extent of the resistance is from water propelled by a water pistol found inside a Christmas Cracker.I'd advise buying a water repellant spray to coat the bag before use.Despite the rather negative review, it has come in handy as the need to shell out for expensive roof rails etc is negated. It holds a lot of items which means more room in the boot.I have a pick up now and still use it to throw bedding for camping in so it's all in one tidy place. Fair price for what it is but don't expect clothing / bedding to be dry after transporting whilst on your roof, in rain.My overall review - "meh!" :I

It does not look big but what a size when you get all your stuff in it. Loads of room, got a felt bottom on the bottom so it protects your roof. Down side it is not that water proof.
