Pocket Portable hole punch

Perfect for my Filofax

I bought my first lovely Filofax and promptly realised that I couldn't afford the notepaper they sell - figured I'd buy a hole punch and make my own notepaper.As one of the other reviews says, there is a discrepancy somewhere about the picture/title/description combo. This punch has 6 evenly spaced holes.Appearance:Sleek, dark grey, with logo on the side.Hole punching:It's okay. It really does just do one sheet at a time.It took me a while to realise there was a "paper stop" which is a handy extra.Pros:If you open it up you can click it into the ringbinder.Lightweight.Cheap.Cons:Only one piece of paper at a time.A little bit bulky? It won't fit in the back pocket properly.Would recommend to a friend - it's so cheap you can't go wrong.Quick delivery, very happy with the product and dealer!Hope you found this review helpful!

Thankfully i bought this used so only paid £2 for it - and it came in the original package and seemed brand new to me, so no complaints there. However, had I paid £7.99 for it, I would not be at all happy. This punch is both too bulky and too flimsy - too bulky to fit well in my binder and far too flimsy for the job it is supposed to do.I was aware it could only do one page at a time, but I didn't expect even that to only work when you put it on a table or desk and slam something down on it (ideally not your hand, I speak from experience, ouch) in order to get the plastic hole punch thingies to go through the paper.I would suggest saving your money and getting a real hole punch, and if you need to punch paper on the go, take it with you already punched or save and punch it when you get home.I rarely leave such negative reviews but think it is only fair to warn other prospective purchasers that this is, in my view, fit for purpose and most definitely not worth the money.

I was looking for a hole punch for my pocket Filofax and I'll admit to reluctantly buying this. Don't get me wrong, it's a good wee punch - durable, compact and lightweight - but IMO it's far too expensive for what it is (£7 at time of buying!) and its made of plastic. I'd give it a five star rating if it was more affordable but I feel that I was paying for a name...It only punches one sheet at a time and you have to press very firmly on it in order to punch the paper since the bits that punch are also made of plastic, not metal like traditional hole punches.Opinion? So-so. Not the worst product I've bought, but not the best. It's expensive for what it is :/

It's easy to use but you can't even punch 2 small papers, you have to punch one at a time and it doesn't work with other 6 hole ring binders other than filoflax, which is frustrating, I bought a 2nd hand one, so I didn't pay the full price but I recommend everyone buying Japanee 6 hole punchers , other than paying £6-8 to small one, good thing these are portable you can carry it in your binder etc. It doesn't really punch properly, you'll be wasting your money if you buy it , you can find better ones from Japanese Stationery stores.

I bought this to replace one I mislaid and it seems to be fine

When considering this item there were lots of mixed reviews about it - I took the plunge and purchased it regardless! It has proved very useful allowing me to create my own dividers for my filofax and being able to hole punch all my flyaway papers that were just loose in my filofax. It is possible to punch slightly thicker paper but does take a little time to find the best way so it cuts neatly. I have found many used for this other than punching paper for my filofax so am very pleased I purchased it, for a good price too! Due to the small size of it I am able to keep it in the back of my filofax too so it is always there when I need it.
