I really thought this was a cute birthday gift. They are soft and durable, but they do not like to stay up unless you force them too. They fall over very easily.

As you’d expect from Melissa & Doug, this is a high quality toy. They monsters come in bold, bright colors and the faces are pseudo scary, but not really (like 4 eyes on one), even for a two year old. She wasn’t interested in rolling the ball, she threw it straight down Abms them and laughed when she knocked some over. It was even more fun to swipe them with a plastic saucer from a kitchen set and have them all fall. They’re easy for an adult to set up. I’m not sure the toddler could right now even if she wanted to try. The monster “pins” are weighted on the bottom, but not as much I thought they’d be. The ball has a funny face also, and so it wobbles when you try to roll it straight. I think she’ll enjoy the “real” game as she grows. Right now the monsters make really good tea party attendees or students in a school. I like it that this is one of those toy sets that really encourage free play.

Bought this on sale on Amazon. My kids were interested in bowling because they saw it in tv. I thought this would be so fun. The monsters are detailed and they all are different. Great as a gift for a toddler or young kid.

I bought these as a gift, so I have not seen it in use but it was so cute! Looked like good quality

I gave this to my cousin‘s baby and he now takes some of the “pins “and bring them to bed so he can snuggle with them and it makes me so happy that this present has doubled as something you can actively play with and something you can take to bed as a stuffed animal.

Great quality, fun, fun toy. Our Grandson plays for hours with these, he sits the pins up, runs giggling to my chair, and "bowls" with his ball. The pins sometimes drop, sometimes not, (he's working on his aim he says) then he sits the pins back up and here we go...I highly recommend this toy. it is good quality at a very good price. I give it an A+++
