Origami Japanese Washi Folding Paper (018033)

I had to pay £11.79 customs charge to receive this item from the post office! So it is not free postage, but extremely expensive postage. The paper itself is not washi paper. Washi is handmade paper that is gorgeous and slightly softer than normal paper. This paper is thin and shiny with bright colours and gaudy designs, not the delicate designs I was expecting. It will still work well for making origami but I thought I was buying something more beautiful and tactile. So overall I am extremely dissatisfied with this purchase. It is certainly not worth the £15+ I ended up paying due to the customs charge.UPDATE: Yoshida were extremely helpful in refunding me the customs charge.

I'm new to origami, even more so to proper origami paper. Upon receiving my order, it was not long until I attempted making a Spanish box, I've made a few of these using normal 80g A4 paper. What a difference this folding paper makes, instantly I had perfectly aligned folds and didn't have to perform the tedious task of creating a square piece. It's a joy to work with, the patterns are good too, I wasn't too sure at first looking on Amazon, but they're really nice and make all the difference to the end piece.I would buy these again, recommended *****Good quality, like the size, nice folds, nice selection of patterns, quick delivery, fantastic price.

I had to wait a little while for this to arrive, it did have to come all the way from Japan, but it was well worth the wait. The patterns look great, the quality is very good (thin, crisp & strong). Overall I am very happy with this paper. When I run out, I will definitely be ordering another batch from the same supplier (Sukiyaki JP). I'm one very happy customer....

I'm only a beginner so can't say how this paper is from an expert view but I found it easy to work with and the colours and patterns are beautiful.I'm working on making 1000 cranes and it is perfect for that, also made a lovely star box as a gift.It arrived quickly and in perfect condition too.

Beautiful paper that folds wonderfully. The patterns are exquisite whilst the folds are crisp and sharp. Found it great for general folding and especially gratifying when used for boxes.Delivery was as to be expected from abroad but the quality of the paper surpassed my expectations - will be buying more from them.

For the price I expected thicker or a more textured paper. Plus point is that they're square and the patterns aren't bad. Not the best paper I've ever bought. The thinness means your model may not be terribly sturdy. Good for folds that have lots of layers I guess.

Beautiful selection of washi papers, lovely patterns. The very best thing about this was the delightful tiny origami 'flapping bird crane' which fell out of the envelope when the order arrived. Such a lovely touch. I would definitely buy from this seller again. Good service all the way from China.

Just stunningly beautiful designs. I actually like that there is a mix of ornate and busy designs as well as simple ones.It loses the one star as it takes a very long time to arrive. The estimated delivery is very broad (1 month) and also inaccurate. My paper only arrived after the last day that was estimated.
