FisherSpace Pen Trekker Pen with Comfort Grip - Black, 725B

I love this Space Pen - I carry it with me everywhere. But… there are two design flaws IMO.① The lanyard ring is attached to the pen lid via a plastic fixture. I did only once pull the lid off with the lanyard (not a good idea) since then I gripped the lid directly. But the plastic did shear eventually anyway after about one year. The UK supplier replaced the lid for free - so the guarantee is excellent. When the plastic shears the pen nib is exposed so it does need replacement.② The pen is too short - depends on hand size I guess. So I have now extended mine by gaffa-taping on the end of a spare biro type pen (see photo). Now I can write much more comfortably.

I bought this Trekker Pen more cheaply in 2016, but even today its high quality engineering puts the pen above most others because it is so unbelievably tough! The ink inside just goes on and on. The Trekker stays on my keyring for emergencies when I haven't a pen. I like its magnetic top, making it difficult to fall of, this being the reason why these last four years it hasn't been lost.You get what you pay for. Fisher Space Pen Trekker Pen is built to last. It writes at any angle, even when it's raining hard.

Fischer does it again. A fantastic piece of kit great variation on the original. Easily goes on a key chain in your pocket and incredibly handy. Great comfort grip.Only downside is availability of replacement comfort grips. My comfort grip festered away after 3 years rugged use. Pen works fine seen actiona few dents and will last much much longer. But can I find a replacement comfort grip, No. Still 3 years use is excellent.

Good, robust. Smaller than expected.

This is my second Fisher Space pen (lost previous one on Turkish Holiday) and I am extremely pleased with both the quality and price. I particularly bought this model for the useful lanyard as I constantly put pens down and loose them. It writes smoothly under extreme angles and conditions and refills are readily available online. Thumbs up to the seller for a prompt delivery service.

Nice pen, it is a bit short, but fits well in my pocket. writes well, and can be attached to things. The cap fits very tightly, so can be difficult to pull off, but that keeps it secure.

Again like so many others , I had the same issue the secure cap is bad design and becomes loose after a while , This is a great idea , slim design , just let down by the securing method. Mine has fell off many times now and its finally lost. If only they could sort this issue out then it would be great but unfortunately this product is not fit for purpose.

This is the second pen purchased. Used for work and never lets me down. This version I attached with ID lanyard and works perfectly
