Good for protection, not very good if you want to use the camera.
The case definitely protects the camera, so much so that it is sometimes difficult to get to the camera especially if you want to get to it fast. When you un-clip the cover to free the lens your left with most of the very stiff leather just flapping around & getting in the way of where your putting your fingers, if you spend the time to take the cover right off your likely to find that in the time spent you've missed your shot & that your going to spend quite a time trying to clip it back together. Getting to the battery compartment & the ports is not possible without completely removing the case which is screwed to your camera so quick changes or hook ups are not possible. The wrist strap provided is very uncomfortable due to there being no flexibility in the very stiff leather. I guess it would be handy if you need that extra level of protection for travelling but its pretty useless if you want quick access to the camera.

Very pleased
I am very happy with the product. Pictures are 100% accurate - this is a cheap leader-looking material, but does exactly what I wanted - it protects my camera, and the front is easily removable for making pictures immediately. You can turn the front around and not remove it everytime. I keep my camera always on a mini trypod and before I used to remove the trypod and put the camera in a case. If I wanted to make pictures immediately I missed the moment. Now is different. I don't need to remove the trypod and put my camera in a case anymore. It suits perfectly on my Canon G7X mark II. The price is reasonable.

Not for the ones using the camera frequently
Unfortunately this item was too stiff and not as easy to use as I would have liked. I had to open it all up and time the two key parts apart each time for ease of use of the actual camera. It's pretty when it is in and not in use but not great otherwise. Looks stunning though.
