Jackass: The Lost Tapes [DVD]

Why is everyone slating this DVD as just another "crappy rip-off" - People are also saying there's no new material? Well obviously not, MTV originally released three volumes of Jackass (each being the best of each series) and left out the best stunts/sketches/skits such as "God Vs. Satan", "Self Defense Test", "Stun Collar" and "Fast Food Football". Other amazing sketches include "Unicycle Poo Barf", "Roller Jump" and the sickly-grotesque "Vomelete" - that sketch really is a great way to make yourself feel really sick. The Lost Tapes is just a compilation of all the stuff left off the volumes in a normal cheap DVD package. The DVD comes in a normal black amary case, the screen is full frame and the sound stereo. It is 104 minutes in length and there are 93 chapters which means they're are 93 stunts, sketches and skits. This infact is actually the best stuff and people who are saying this isn't funny clearly hasn't watched this fully because this is by the far funniest Jackass TV show collection DVD I've ever seen. It really is one of the funniest TV compilations of all time, and the best thing about Jackass is no matter how you order all the segments - it's still loads of fun! Some of the sketches sort of cut out but it's not really surprising because it is obviously connected to some other stunt that's not on the DVD, but hey? It doesn't really matter. For £3 this is a bargain, (The price may have changed by the time you read this) and a fantastic one at that! Seriously, buy this DVD because it is the BEST OF the TV show. The films are obviously better but this is the best TV stuff.[NOTE: Amazon, for some reason, have the wrong DVD cover with a PINK skull and crossbones when actually it's orange]

First things first, the actual DVD is coloured orange and not pink like it is in the picture. This DVD shows the scenes of Jackass that did not make it to air for one reason or another, aswell as a few of the more popular scenes that did make it to air. It's quite a long DVD which is amusing for about the first three quarters. By the end of the DVD it's not as amusing as you'd expect from Jackass but the whole point of this DVD was to show the stuff they didn't put on air for one reason or another so the drop in quality is to be expected. All in all this DVD is worth it and very fun to watch - you just might find yourself hovering over the stop button after an hour or so.

I watched Jackass when it was shown on TV. Then I forgot the whole series for years. Recently I found them on the internet and got hooked again. I bought all the movies and the complete TV- series box ( I was lucky to get the last new item!) from Amazon. And most recently this one. And what a Jackass would have I been if I haven't bought all these!! The TV- series has some great stunts that I have been missing so much. But the team is like a good wine: getting better and better over the years. The stunts in the movies 2 - 3,5 are SO GOOD! Have been laughing so much.Where do they get all the ideas?! If you are a Jackass fan, don't miss these!!

The lost tapes is a good add on for jackass seris the lost tapes is the deleted secens of the tv show and the clips that got banned. Very good the best skits are the vomlet,poo poo plater,extream unicycleing,bear wresteling and the human urinal.A good setfor jackass fans runs 95 min but i would match in 2 parts you will know wat i mean when u get it.

hard to find many laughs, the only stunt that both amused and revolved us was the sketch were they made an omelette out of vomit, and ate it, sickening, the rest was pretty shabby,

You always have those things that make you laugh the most, for me, it's jackass. When you think it's all over because you've seen all the movies, buy this! It's all the great parts that were not shown, but are still equally or more funny!Brilliant DVD, for brilliant price.

As someone that's watched Jackass for years it's great to see the stuff that they were not aloud when the show was originally shown. Couldn't stop laughing.
