Draper Redline 68470 Hole Saw Kit (11-Piece)

For the number of times I need hole saws, which isn't that frequent, I didn't want to pay out a lot, so I bought these. I only use them on wood, kitchen units and plasterboard. I've now used a couple of these a few times and have been very happy with the cut and the simplicity of use. The only slight downside is the nasty, flimsy case, but it would be mean of me to knock a point for something that has no bearing on the tools themselves.

The actual tools are solid and good quality and great value however the case in weak. Hence the 4 stars.

First time i have used one of these.Very happy with result.Needed a hole through worktop for pipes on countertop dishwasher to connect under my sink.Probably never use it again but handy to have just incase i do or someone else needs to borrow it.It fitted on my drill no bother at all (drill was also purchased from Amazon, which i am also happy with)

Draper Redline 68470 Hole Saw Kit (11-Piece) Use this at the weekend to to drill vent holes in my shed and the 3 different hole saws I used cut through with no issues.The kit itself is well made and the saws come with a thin oil coating to protect them.If I had any gripe it would be that the pieces do not click into place, they just sit in the molds. This is not a major issue at all but would be a nice to have so they don't rattle about in the box when carrying it.All in through this is well worth the money

Value for money, very much so. you get a good selection of hole drill sizes, 2 grips and a drill piece. The good thing is the item did the job i needed to but the small drill piece was quite blunt and will not go into the water butt I got this kit for. I ended up having to use another drill bit of my own so I can centralise the hold drill bit which was included in this kit to bit and to stay in place.The bits are protected with a grease which is good and I can only assume these metal is not rust proof. I would recommend keeping it greased up due to this same reason.

I needed to cut a hole through an mdf shelf to allow for all the wires from TV, sky box and dvd player to go through, so wanted to buy a reasonably priced set of hole saws. I knew nothing about them but read the reviews and thought this Draper Redline set would probably do the job. When they arrived there were no instructions and wasn't quite sure how they fitted onto the drill. I watched a few videos on Youtube and realised that to make bigger holes you need the drill part so that they guide the cutter through the wood/mdf. I have quite an old Black & Decker drill, and it worked really well. Cut through the shelf with a perfect hole.I can think of several jobs in this house that I've bodged up that would have looked so much better if I'd have hole saws before. They are in a lightweight box that doesn't take up too much room and I'm sure will be used a lot in the years to come. It would make a great gift for a diy fan.

I bought this to cut a mounting for a 12 volt socket in my camper van. It did the job, cutting through laminated board without any problems. Seems fine for occasional DIY use and good value at the price, but definitely not a professional item . All parts arrived and were coated in light oil to prevent corrosion. Plastic box OK for storage but flimsy and would not stand up to hard use. Would recommend for occasional light DIY use.

I needed to make holes through walls for fitting the washing machine in the hall cupboard , and the Draper hole saws worked perfectly , I cut through plasterboard and plywood with no problems 4 different holes in total and the in and out hoses fitted perfectly , very happy with this purchase .
