Faber-Castell Classic 24-Colour Pencils in Metal Tin Box

Great value for the price - I was a bit wary about buying pencils by post, but arrived all intact :-) A good selection of colours, each pencil has a space to write your name on...which leads nicely to my next comment about them being very good quality pencils for children who really enjoy drawing and colouring and good for basic adult use. By that I mean I think they are probably not so good for a more serious artist, but then that is reflected in the price. I still have a set of Faber Castell pencils I was bought as a child, which have lasted over 30 years! Being in a tin helps preserve them better. If, like me, the details are important to you, the set contains shade numbers 301, 307, 309, 314, 316, 321, 327, 329, 330, 334, 337, 344, 347, 351, 357, 363, 366, 370, 380, 383, 387, 396, 399 and 352(gold).

I've just started with the adult colouring books and I made the mistake of buying a cheap set of colour pencils which made colouring less enjoyable. I remembered that I loved using Faber Castell pencils as a kid, and wondered why that wasn't my first choice to begin with! Haha.The pencils arrived in a comically huge box with lots of padding! But this kept the tin nicely in tact with no dents (:The colours are nice and smooth and the pencils are a joy to colour with. If you're looking for a set of quality colour pencils without breaking the bank, this is a good set to start with!

These pencils are quality. I made the mistake of purchasing a much cheaper set previously, which you really had to dig into the paper to get any sort of colour. These are 100x better, only light strokes are needed to get a good amount of colour. Comes in a very stylish looking compartment as well. Most importantly, I get some pieces and quiet during this holiday - well worth the few bob this has cost!

I bought these pencils, as I've recently bought an adult colouring book and wanted some decent coloured pencils to use, and I'm not disappointed. The pencils are just right for the job and are of excellent quality. They are not too sharp like some really cheap ones on the market that can cut through paper and break easily, and with the same token they are not too waxy either. Great purchase for an excellent price. Once I've used these for a while I may treat myself to the bigger tin of Faber-Castell coloured pencils!! I would recommend these highly.

Brilliant set of 24 Classic Faber Castell pencils. Arrived with no damage to pencils. They are in a good quality tin with a good range of colours, including metallic gold (which is really nice). Lovely to use and blend nicely, would buy again and probably in a larger set :)

If you're into drawing or someone in your life is, then you'll know how hard it is to get decent pencil crayons. Often the ones recommend at school are okay, but no long-lasting and they don't blend well. However, these pencil crayons blend easily and are so vibrant! Highly recommend to anyone looking for good colour pencils! (A bonus feature is that they're vegan!)

I have not opened these as they are a gift for some one . how ever I have the polycromos and they are the best quality you can find. these will not disappoint I am sure. plus they are bright colours good pigment and have an unbreakable white core. if they are dropped they will not break inside the wood. that's why I bought them they were ideal for my friends child to use at school and colouring in adult colouring books. she is 13 and I know she will love these pencils , I also have heard very good praises about these pencils. yes also they were excellent value for money. if you are an artist or want to colour like an artist or you are doing parchment craft the go for Faber Castell polycromo's they are excellent but are pretty expensive but will last years so well worth every penny. These come in tins sized from 12 pencils right up to over a hundred. I actually have the 36 and they range around £40.

Lovely colours, very easy to apply, they don't smudge at all, tips don't break. They come in a really nice little run which makes them easy to store and keep organised. Excellent for my colouring addiction. The only problem is trying to keep my 4 year old little girl's hands off of them!
