Poor picture and worse sound. Avoid.
Not sure where all these 5 star reviews came from. I would bet on the manufacturer or seller. Take a look at the reviews, broken English and very excited about this projector. It is in fact pretty diabolical. Picture okish and sound is non-existent - you will need an external speaker. For £29.99 I didn't expect much and it was worse than that. If you get this then don't say I didn't warn you. I returned this and got another projector from Amazon. The £39.99 Deeplee DP500 Mini Projector (1800 Lumens). For £10 more it is many times better. I went for this projector because it could run off a battery pack and could be taken and used anywhere. I got it mainly for Halloween projections, couple of scary pumpkins, dancing skeletons, etc. But for the portability you certainly lose quality. Half the time testing it, it wouldn't turn on, I had to press the button a few times. The new projector I got instead isn't as portable, running off mains power, but it certainly does the job.

ok
For this price I didn't find any better projector than this. Perfect for my small room. To set this up it took me about 5 minutes, I just had to plug the AC power cable and connect the projector to my laptop with the HDMI cable. After the first use I felt like in theatre, but much more comfortable sitting on my own couch. The image can be seen in rooms with ambient light, but the darker the room the better. Great sharp image and amazing colors. I’ve managed to get the best picture quality with Projection size is 50 inches’ diagonal. The picture is powered by LED lamp that has a brightness of 400 lumens with 20000 hours Lifetime.I usually connect with my laptop over a HDMI cable but also has a card reader slot. Since I bought this Video Projector we use it almost every night to watch a movie. I wish I would have bought this one earlier. I would absolutely recommend this not only for household use, but also for for use in classrooms, large auditoriums or office.

Very impressive for the price, but...
Reading other reviews of this product I wasn't expecting much but as it was only £30 I gave it a chance, and I am very impressed by it. It was a lot smaller than expected but that's a good thing as I wanted it to be small for ease of moving it around. Very impressed by the amount that it can be hooked up to, xbox, iphone, memory stick, laptop etc.. Although it is very good for £30, it is more of a gimmic rather than a full blown projector. You can see the pixels really clearly above a 12 inch screen and the sound isn't that great. However it can be connected up to speakers so that's good. Overall a nice mini projector, good build, but do not think that this will replace a TV or laptop screen in terms of quality because if it was that good, it would be more expensive. Would recommend for under £35 but over that it's a bit expensive for what it is.

Overall disappointing.
I have sent this back for a refund - just not up to the job. The instructions are poor so it takes an age to work out how to set it up. The visual is not very sharp and there is a very limited focus adjustment function. I bought it to use for art and craft, as another reviewer had some success, but it just didn't work for me. Even though I had the correct software on my phone the projector couldn't find it. Overall disappointing quality and performance.

Great fun for my 7 years old son.
This is entry level projector. It is clearly stated in the description. 400 Lumen - it's basic. If you are into projectors and sharp images and huge screen this is not for you, however if you want your child to watch a short cartoon before going to sleep or put a music on in the background with some visual effects on the wall this is it.In my opinion it's fun for kids. My son and his friends like it. And i do not worry that he will damage an expensive piece of devise. It's only 30£.I like that it comes with little tripod, that allows you to adjust angle. If you want your kid to have some fun - get it, but if you are looking for something to watch movies on opt for something more expensive with lumen 800 +My son enjoys this one tough.

Not a bad little device - I do have a more high spec projector but it was a more high spec price! - but wanted one to project cartoons on outside walls for Halloween. It looks good enough for this. Quite simple to use - I used full sized SD cards via a little USB convertor gadget. Sound quality better than expected, too.

Worth a try but no good for me
Wouldn't power up from 2a usb power bank as stated in description. Using mains it read the usb folder and played a movie. Screen resolution is worse than I expected (and I didn't expect much). Focusing limited. At the recommended distance the picture was just adequate but too small for our needs. Internal speaker poor but plays well through external speakers.Doesn't meet my needs as it didn't work with powerbank for camping so it's been returned.Reasonable toy for the money but we need something different.
