Ikea LACK COFFEE TABLE WHITE

What can I say you pay cheap you get cheap. I didn’t expect anything fantastic it was bought for my 11 year old. However when it arrives sealed in plastic untampered and one of the legs has two big holes in it because it’s been majorly damaged, the top is pealing in one corner the shelf is also chipped. It shows the manufacturer producing this product or the workers producing this product have not care in the world. I managed to position the damage so it was towards the back.Is there any point in complaining to the buyer not really. It would probably cost me more to return.If you’re purchasing this to put in your living room then don’t do it pay that bit extra. If it’s just for a child to use maybe okay you literally get less than you pay for.

This was so easy to assemble and looks so nice.

This is a very cheap coffee table from IKEA. Looks like the people selling this on Amazon have just bulk-purchased the tables from IKEA and are now reselling them on Amazon at a slight profit.I ended up ordering two of these, because the first one arrived in too damaged a state to be used and had to be returned (the lower table section was smashed on the side). The second (from a different seller) arrived with a few tiny chips but nothing which stopped me building it.The material is extremely cheap. I've already scratched the side of the table, despite owning it only a month or so. I can easily see me throwing this out after a year or two. I guess you get what you pay for. I also suspect that the extremely cheap quality is probably why, looking at the reviews, so many of these are getting damaged in transit.The colour of the white table is actually a yellowy off-white. This might not bother you, but if you're putting it with other furniture which is actually white, the colour difference is noticeable.Building the table was easy enough that I could do it alone. You only need a Philips screwdriver and a pen/pencil.

When ordered it seemed like a reasonable price for a fairly basic table. After being in for the two days it said it would arrive (but didn't) seller was good in their communication (however didn't share the initial tracking number) and promptly sent "another one" out when there was no updates from the courier (Hermes). Finally arrived today, no overly well packaged and turned out to be the IKEA Lack table, which IKEA themselves sell for 17 quid - complete with Ikea instructions and stickers. Table itself is ok and easy to put together, but save yourself 18 quid and go to IKEA (or buy two?!)Would be a one star review, but an extra star for the communication, politeness and benefit of the doubt

Super happy with purchase of this, easier than trying to get to Ikea to get one. Came well packed and it’s so easy to put together, done it in about 10 mins. Great size for area I wanted it for and handy shelf for magazines.

Nice table, great price, easy to assemble and the thing I like best is it's not heavy to move. However it needs gliders on the leg bases and I'm surprised they were not supplied. But no problem as I bought a pack of 4 stick-on furniture gliders for £4 from Amazon. Now it's perfect!

I knocked a star off because I ordered a oak effect & received black, I would have returned but was just before Christmas & luckily I had enough stick on film to cover it before assembly, other than that it was easy to assemble & sturdy without being too heavy

I am impressed with this , especially for the price . Good and solid . Easy assembly . Quite a large surface area which is pleasing . Looks clean and fresh in my room and would definitely purchase again .
