SUPERB
This book is SUPERB. Possibly the best photographic atlas i’ve seen. The photographs are superb as well as the dissections, the editing, presentation, explanatory notes, organization. Quite strangely it seems to be marketed as more of an adjunct to an A&P text. But actually it stands on its own quite marvelously; right up there with the best photographic atlases. VERY happy with my purchase.

Useful for anatomy!
The images are so clear and helpful that I can just use this textbook to study for anatomy practicals instead of actually going to lab time! It's so helpful and I would recommend this book to anyone taking anatomy or dissection!

Best Photo Atlas
I have used this atlas in an undergraduate human anatomy cadaver lab and am now using it in a graduate school dissection course. The photos and the dissections in the book are amazing. My classmates have much more expensive and thicker atlases, but we frequently use this one to figure things out.One of my favorite features is that it labels each structure with a number and then has a separate "key" with the names corresponding to each letter. It reduces the clutter seen in other atlases with dozens of lines sticking through the picture and it is also a great way to quiz yourself. This atlas also contains histology slides, so it was a big help in that area too.

Paperback version not worth it. PDF version is better.
This is an excellent book. The quality of the dissections are some of the best I've come across. Unfortunately, and the reason I took off 2 stars, is that the quality of the paper in the book is really poor. It feels like the cheapest quality paper was used and the pages are not glossy whatsoever. They will soak up any sort of moisture around. The black background is also splotchy and appears gray on some pages. I have also seen the PDF version of this book and it is a million times better. The black background is actually black, and the quality of the pictures actually even looks better. I would rate the PDF version to be 5 stars, but the physical book is a huge disappointment and I'm a bit disappointed that I paid 80$ for this print quality. My review may seem a bit overly critical, but if you check the book out, you will see what I mean. There is a huge difference in the quality of the paper version over the PDF. Just my 2 cents.
