Have kept in descaled kettle. Nothing built up after about 40-45 boilings. But can better review after some further use.Bought 2 of this. Another is kept in partially scalled kettle. Will observe the results. So far not much effect seen in the scalled kettle (after 25 boilings)

Good in the kettle ,if you have hard water

I ordered this on the 22nd July. When it arrived a few days later I de-scaled the kettle as normal. This is something I would do every week, dropped the wire pad in the kettle and as you can see by the photo6/7 weeks later still good. People say this does not work, It does but it is not magic, the lime scale is still there but not stuck to the bottom of the kettle.1. Descale kettle before adding.2. Every morning before using the kettle for the first time, tip away any water and rinse out.Every few days you will find pieces of limescale in the wire pad, rinse under the tap.
