I am just about to buy a replacement hair dryer as I’ve lost the nozzle attachment and discovered according to my amazon history I have had this hairdryer for 10 years! It’s a great little basic hairdryer as not massively powerful but light weight, easy controls and I would say very reliable and in my case built to last.

Brilliant low-cost hair dryer. Does exactly what is says on the box! It is plastic, but seems solidly built and the materials used make for a very light unit. Buttons are easy to set and adjust on the fly, very unobtrusive in the handle and can't get clicked from one position to another as easily as rocker switches in the same area can be.It's probably one of the quietest hair dryers I've ever used, I have tinnitus in my right ear and the dryer doesn't aggravate it as my last did.Dried my shoulder length curly hair in under 3 or 4 minutes on the low speed and eco heat setting .. Lead is long enough for me @ 5' 10" using a floor plug.Happy with it so far, it just does the job and didn't cost a fortune. Time will tell as to its longevity, my last one died a few weeks ago after 15 or more years of use, so it does have to fill some pretty good boots ..!It's cheap, it's cheerful, if you're looking for a budget hair dryer, I'd definitely say to give this a try ..<p.s.> It's packed with a seal on the box and a plastic bag inside, stating "Do not open if you don't intend to keep the product", which I find a bit strange, as you have to open it all up to test to see if it works and also if suits you and your needs.

The media could not be loaded. Works great and dries my hair quickly. It’s also much quieter than other dryers I’ve used. Highly recommend!

There are two slider switches, one to control temperature and one for speed. Initially I found these very stiff to use (beware if you have arthritic thumbs) but they have loosened a bit after use. They still feel rather clumsy and not very positive. Speed and heat settings are pretty standard but the 'cool spot' does not get very cool. The dryer is light-weight and compact. Overall it feels cheaply made but that's reflected in the price. It does the job but I have a feeling it won't be as robust and long-lived as my last dryer.
