Melissa & Doug Snack Food Set

This snack set is such a cute addition to the Melissa and Doug product line. You get five snack bags (veggie chips, oatmeal cookies, tortilla chips, popcorn, and pretzels) which are made of a nice almost cloth like material with a velcro closure. The bags seem very sturdy and look as though they will hold up to a lot play. You also get 2 oatmeal cookies, 2 clusters of popcorn, 2 pretzels, 4 veggie chips, and 4 tortilla chips.My twin girls love taking the food out of the bags and putting them back in. It's great as it allows them to make a matching game out of it by putting the correct food in the correct bag. My only complaint is that I wish one of the foods included 3 items instead of 2 or 4 just to make my young girls work on counting to different numbers.Overall I would highly recommend this anyone looking for a new play food item. If you are a fan of other Melissa and Doug food items you will not be disappointed with this product.

This is a very durable and reasonably priced play set. I included pictures to show each item, and I turned over one cookie and pretzel to show the back of them. Each food item is made of wood, with the popcorn being the thickest food item. These items are too big to fit into a child's mouth as well.The bags are made of cloth with a velcro closing at the top. I'm not sure of the exact material the bags are made of, but it reminds me of a reusable grocery bag. Melissa and Doug is always my go-to brand when I want to add any new items into my kids pretend play kitchen and grocery store. Quality, quantity and price is always great.I was on the fence about buying this set but I'm glad I took a chance. My kids and I really love it! It is different from the material that they usually come out with.I love that it has a Velcro open/close! The look is realistic, the colors are vibrant and the pieces inside are high quality wood that we're used to seeing from M&D sets.I highly recommend this product. It quickly became a favorite! These kinds of toys are what help make childhood amazing for our little ones!

I managed to find this set on sale for a great price and snapped it up! It's been sitting and waiting, and I just got it out for my 2 yo grand-daughter, and it's so adorable! She has the frozen food set also, but this set is so much cuter and better! The bags are bigger, and I think the wooden food looks much more realistic. Very happy with this set, happy with the price, and my grand-daughter loves it!

I got this along with a bunch of other stuff to work on everyday vocabulary building and turn taking with my son. I just needed them to look like foods he recognized so I wasn't too bothered beyond that, but they are honestly so adorable. The cloth bags are really well made with cute, colorful designs. The bags and wooden snacks are really durable, too.My kids love to do pretend snack time with them. We've come up with a few different ways to help reinforce the words for my son using the set, and now he'll actually use the food names to ask for what he wants to eat.

My 2 year old received these for Christmas, and loves to play with them. In fact every kid that has been over to our house over the holidays (ages 2-12) has been playing with these cute little snacks! Well made, the bags are a fun idea and seem sturdy enough to withstand multiple little ones opening and closing them over and over. The snacks inside are wooden. Overall a very well made toy.

My sons have the Melissa and Doug grocery store and we have purchased many many play food sets. This one is their favorite and the quality of materials is top notch. Couldn't be happier with the product and well worth the price point.

5 different bags to put the snacks in. Most of the bags hold two - four pieces. Velcro closing so they stay shut. Cute design on all the bags. I only wish the popcorn was more like the chips - thiner - so you could get four - five pieces instead of only two.

This set is adorable. The bags are made of durable cloth and the food pieces out of wood. It was just the right addition to our pretend hockey rink/hot choco stand. The children were engaged and loved playing with them!
