This is a fantastic multifunctional can opener.It cuts the folded seam around the can and leaves it so that there are no sharp edges to cut yourself.The only two negatives are that it is sometimes more tricky to release the lid, as it doesn't puncture the can like other types.The solution is to use the included grip to remove it, which works every time.The second, is that it is harder to drain tins of tuna, as the lid doesn't press down easily into the tin to expel the liquid.Absolutely recommended.

I wish I'd discoverd this can opener years ago! So easy to operate, even with arthritis, works for ring pull cans as well. Such a great idea, there are no sharp edges anywhere, the can and the lid stay rigid, means I can rinse both without worry before recycling. I have recommended to all my friends.

This is the perfect can opener, it opens cans safely and without spillage. You may think that it is a bit on the large side but that is the advantage of it. It is not flimsy, it is precision engineered, the ring pull part is the only one that completely removes the lid without pinging back and splattering the walls and ceiling!

Works really well and the smooth edges leaves animal friendly waste. Only 4 stars since some may feel it too complex but only some.

Best can opener ever. Easy, hassle free even on “difficult” tougher cans like salmon. Leaves a blunt edge so no risk of cutting fingers. Not the cheapest but worth it. Am going to buy another!

This can opener is surprisingly good for multiple uses. I'm pleased I spent the money on it and won't hesitate to get another one if I need it in future.

Easiest and best can opener I've ever used. Plus, it opens plastic carbonated drinks bottles, breaks the seals on stubborn jars, opens ring pull cans easily and has a bottle opener as well!I've lost track of the number of cheap AND expensive can openers I've gone through over the years, so finding this amazing item is a dream come true.No sharp edges on the cans or the lids, and because it doesn't use a blade to slice the can open, nothing ever comes into contact with the contents of the tin, so hygiene wise, it's unbeatable.It's also the smoothest and easiest can opener I've come across and has passed the one test that separates the cheapo openers from the best... the metal pies in the tins from the brand that sounds like "Ray Mentos" - these things destroy most can openers, but are easily tamed by these fantastic Swiss creations!I can't say enough good things about this multi-opener from Kuhn Rikon. If you suffer from arthritis and struggle with bottles, jars and cans, this will help immensely. It's SO easy to use and is very well designed and thought out, from the extra leverage it gives when opening a really tight plastic bottle top, down to the little button-operated mini pliers that grip and lift the can lid away and lets you drop it straight in the bin with no mess.Would make a very welcome gift for anyone, I'm sure.

Sehr vielseitig einsetzbar. Liegt gut in der Hand. Langlebigkeit kann nicht bewertet werden, da erst vor kurzem gekauft. Wirkt aber sehr robust.

Molto utile per aprire tappi a corona, lattine e scatolette con linguette a strappo. Risulta difficoltosa, invece, l'apertura di tappi a vite e dei coperchi dei vasetti. Considerando il prezzo e l'ingombro, avrei preferito che riuscissi a svolgere tutte le funzioni promesse.
