Highly recommend!!
My 9 year old daughter and I have been reading this book a little each night! Love it!! True to life circumstances. Helps my daughter understand different situations and it helps give a different perspective of others when you may not understand their actions because they may be going through a tough time in life. I can see her truly thinking about these stories as I read to her.

Brave Girls Confidential -
I decided to do something different than my normal review and got a book that was for kids. This one looked like it would be a fun book for my girls ... 9 and 5 and something we could read together or even my 9 year old could read with my 5 year old. This book just looks fun when I first opened the package. My girls will love it just based on the front cover which will ensure that they would at least pick it up :) Covers matter to kids and who doesn't like the idea of a fun sleep over with your friends? After opening up the book I began to read the stories. These stories through the eyes of Faith, Hope, Glory, Gracie and Honor are real. They could be stories that my girls face. They learn how much they are loved and what it means to live life at home, school and in their communities. These stories are written to encourage and inspire our girls as they move through life and face challenges of your own. It's written in a way where I know my girls, and any girl can relate and feel as though they are right inside the story with them. I hope that it will help my girls face what may be thrown out them in their lives. I pray that they are stories they can remember and be brave in the midst of difficulties that may come their way. This is a fun book filled with short stories that I know girls will enjoy.Book DescriptionJoin Brave Girls Faith, Hope, Glory, Gracie, and Honor as they discover how much they are loved and they learn what it means to live godly lives in their homes, schools, and communities.Faith, Hope, Glory, Gracie, and Honor are five regular girls with regular lives. The book has fun stories, strengthening scriptures
The book starts by introducing you to all of the Brave Girls: Faith, Hope, Glory, Gracie and Honor. Each girl looks a little different than each other and has a different home/family life, giving the characters diversity that girls can relate to.The book has over 12 unique stories. Each story starts with a simple scripture verse and usually ends with a scripture verse and a few talking point questions. The stories show how the 5 girls try to live godly lives in their home, school and wherever they're at. The stories show the real rawness of childhood: sibling fights, school struggles and questions of faith. The stories are meant to encourage and inspire girls on what it means to be brave, strong, and faithful. The book has fun stories, strengthening scriptures, and helpful takeaway discussion points to encourage meaningful conversations.I would not consider the book to be a deep devotional, but just a fun faith-filled fiction for young girls to read by themselves or with a parent who can guide them through some extra meaningful conversation. There are some tough subjects, such as moving, divorce, tight finances, fitting in and more. The book gives opportunity for girls to related to some stories and sympathize with others. It's so important to talk through these tough feelings with your young ones and remind them that God is present and how can we respond and call on Him, when situations are hard. Overall, I think it's a neat book to have, as you can follow the characters (in this and other books) and really learn simple Godly truths that young ones will deal with.
