I broke a middle toe and used these to splint it to its closest neighbor so it could heal. Check the instructions on this page to see how to apply these; it's not totally intuitive. They are soft and comfortable but surprisingly effective at holding my toe in place. Better than a band-aid because it doesn't put sticky adhesive on your toe, plus it's very quick to apply once you figure it out. Nice that they come as a pack of 8 so you can stash them in different places They survive a quick hand wash with soap quite well; just let them dry all the way before putting them on again. They wear out a little over time -- after 3 weeks I think I have used 5 of them so far. Sympathies to anyone else with a broken toe; it's no fun! But these helped a lot.

These straps shouldn’t have preset loops because they’re too big. It’d be better if they were not sewn so you have control over how tight the wrap should be. Using regular medical tape is much better. This purchase was a waste of time ordering and returning. Do not recommend for wrapping a broken toe, not strong enough either.

I can only do a 3. The hard plastic tab the fastens this close does stay in place BUT it rubs the skin either raw or bloody on the toe next to it! I know how to wears these, but the hard plastic really should be different! I am using these for a fractured toe.

Best product I’ve found to keep hammer toes in place when I also add a sturdy foam separator between big toe and second toe after it is in place. I wear this during the day everyday on both feet. A band lasts for a week or longer before it begins to stretch too much. I’ve reordered these multiple times.
