Performance is amazing
Cleans the air better and faster than other available brands. Was a huge Levoit fan, but now Sam Bluesky all the way!

Expensive, but heavy-duty
We've experimented with several air purifiers, staying in the low-end of the market. We keep our bedroom door closed at night, letting only a couple of our critters in to sleep with us. This creates somewhat of an air quality issue, since our intake vent is in the hallway right outside our door. The purifiers we've used before have been on the smallish side, and probably why they didn't really seem to do a whole lot. I think we have about 3 in the basement, sitting idle and awaiting the inevitable Clearing Out Day.So when we had a chance to order this, a name-brand that could move more air than our others, we jumped at it. First off, it is big ... not huge, but way bigger than the little ones we've had before. We have plenty of space for it, so that's not an issue, just making note of it. Putting my hand about two feet about the top vent, I can feel the air being pushed out of it, so it's pretty powerful. Even as much air as it circulates, it's very quiet (at least until it senses a spike in air quality, then it gets kind of loud for a little bit).Does it work? I imagine it does. It's hard to quantify air purity. My wife says I haven't snored in a few weeks, so maybe that's related :) We do sometimes see fluff balls stuck to the grill (as you can see in the photo) so it is trying it's best to suck in everything. For our medium-sized bedroom, I think it's doing the trick. One caveat though that may make you want to hold off on buying this -- replacement filters seem to be difficult to find. They are listed on Samsung's site, but not available to buy from them. If you click Where to Buy, you're taken to a map with no places to buy. If you click the "Buy Now" button on that page, you're taken back to the product page. If you keep doing this, you'll find yourself in an infinite loop of dissatisfaction. I knew this when I ordered, but I am holding out hope that a company like Samsung will make the filters easier to find before it's time to replace mine.

Superb Air Filter
I'm never disappointed by anything that Samsung makes. This air filter is amazing. As soon as I turned it on, a notification popped up on my phone asking me if I wanted to add the Air Filter to the smart things app. FYI, I have a Samsung phone. The only thing you really need to do to "set up" this Air Filter is to remove the bag from the filter itself. It even comes with a tag that tells you just in case you don't know. The filter itself has a layer of charcoal pellets, which seems better to me than some other filters. Other filters I've seen claim to have 'charcoal' and 'odor eliminating technology,' but only have a thin black filter layer which might not be made with any charcoal. The charcoal pellets in the honeycomb compartments seems really nice! The inside of the Air Filter has a sensor that detects the air quality. If the Air Filter is set to Auto mode, it will automatically adjust the fan according to the quality of the air in the room. So, if the Air Filter detects poor air quality, then it will ramp up the fan to clean the air faster. There' also an LED indicator on the top that will change colors depending on the air quality. The app is also what really sets this apart from tother Air filters. It automatically detects your phone when set up (if you have a Samsung phone). You scan a QR code on a sticker on the side of the Air filter, connect it to the WIFI, and that's it. You can monitor the Air Filter remotely with your app. Turn it on, turn it off. It also shows you the level of air quality on the app. You can also do other things in the app but that's too much for this review.Extremely happy with this Air Filter. It's expensive at $350 but being high quality and part of the Samsung Ecosystem definitely explains the price.

Can’t find replacement filters
This is super quiet compared to my previous air purifier and I like how this filter has a charcoal filter built in. It is easy to set up. However, Samsung says to search for CFX-K1001 for a replacement air filter but it isn’t available anywhere (including their website). This is a major downside to this otherwise almost perfect air purifier.Update: decreased from 3 to 2 stars after getting no support from Samsung. They kept saying they did not carry “water filters” when I asked about air filters.

Very Nice Air Filter
The unit is compact for the level of cleaning it provides. Its surprisingly quiet at its lowest speed. Its also really powerful at its high setting if you want to really clear a room. It has sleep mode which shuts off all the other lights on the interface and puts the fan into a very quiet mode. Also we have young grandkids who love to come over and turn on our other air filter with has no lock, and they’re constantly fiddling with it. The Samsung has a lock setting! This solves one of my problems. The touch panel works very nicely and has discreet but definitive lights for the functions.Be careful when unpacking it. I didn’t catch the detail about unpacking the inner filter before use, and just plugged the unit in and turned it on. It made a rattling noise which was my own fault, because when I read the instructions it said to remove the filter wrapper before use. I did so and the fan is now perfect. My bad but easily overlooked.I did not try using the internet control interface, for something like this it just adds complication to my life and adds another place our information is stored. Happy to touch the buttons on the panel for our needs,All in all a very nice air filte
