The acrylic pieces are very sturdy. The light stands are super nice as well. I love that they come with a remote.I got a stand in that was broke. I messaged the company and they sent me a new one with no problem. Great customer service!

Almost what I needed. I had to improvise!! First thing is I found a base with the plug on the side instead of the back side. Then I cut this, almost in half, on my miter saw, being careful not to cut the motherboard. I couldn’t find a rectangle shaped base, and I needed this to fit on a 3 1/2” shelf for my project. Now it fits & works perfect!! The lights are nice a bight!! I did remove the battery compartment. Sometimes you have to think outside the box. Maybe the company could make a rectangle base as well

The listing says the acrylic inserts are 4mm thick, but the ones I received are 3mm thick. This is the best thickness for this base (in my opinion due to the way the slot is constructed), but I can't find additional inserts in that size. All are either 2mm (too thin and flop around) or 4mm (too thick and don't fit well in the slot). Otherwise, a good product and the acrylic is of good quality.

Nice base, good price. Be aware that it does come with only one acrylic blank. The slot has a couple of clips molded into the bottom of it so it could probably hold acrylic plates down to around 3mm or so (it works well with plates cut from 3.6mm sheet).(Note that some sheets sold here advertised as 4mm are actually around 3.6mm in thickness.)

This item was perfect for a replacement I needed. Now my light fixture is working perfectly.

I bought these in order to be able to engrave them with my Cricut Maker 3, they are too thick and will not work with the Cricut. I found another thinner acrylic design and even though the acrylic wobbles around in the holder, they will work. I'll more than likely add some tape around the base of the acrylic so it won't wobble as much. I'm not sure what I'll do with the acrylic that came with this set.

I will keep buying these as I need them. Great product for the money. I love the different options the remote has and the amount of colors.
