Convenient
If it works- it's super convenient. Fill a bowl with water, turn this on and put it in the bowl, put in your fruit/veggies, and stir the water every now and then until the light turns off.

Worthless
Don’t waste your money. Want clean veggies? Just run them under the water with some veggie cleaner. This thing looks good on paper but that’s about it! Can’t believe I fell for it! 😡

The unit works as promised…I simply trust it’s cleaning my produce as is promised.
I prepare at least 95% of our meals from whole foods, so we go through a lot of fresh produce. There’s always fruit or vegetables to clean. Currently I use a natural veggie cleaner spray with a veggie brush, and soak the more tender greens in a homemade cleaning solution. When I saw this YOOUUQIAN Fruit and Vegetable washing machine, I was intrigued. If I can do anything to spend less time cleaning produce, I am all for it! The operation of this is simple. Upon receiving it, there’s a cradle to place it in to charge via a provided USB cable. I have a variety of large glass bowls I use, depending on how much produce I want to clean. The unit needs to be immersed in the water to work properly and to avoid ruining it. To turn it on, depress the little oval ‘ON’ button on the bottom half and it will light up green. The unit starts working and within a few seconds you can visibly see bubbles coming out of the holes in the top section. It runs approximately 10 minutes…I’ve never actually timed it, but the times I’ve used it, 10 minutes seems about right. It is common to smell a light scent, similar to chlorine. When it finishes the cycle and turns off automatically, the produce is ready to be removed. For something really dirty or with a heavier wax coating on it, I run it a second time, just for peace of mind. I can testify the machine runs as promised. I believe in the concept of the cleaning system, even though I don’t 100% understand the chemical process of the purification. I trust my fruits and vegetables are cleaner when I take them out. I like the time it saves me in having to physically clean all the produce by hand. I especially like that part!!! This definitely simplifies the produce cleaning process…I just wish it was a little bigger so I could clean more at a time. The included Operating Instruction booklet (operation manual) provides basic guidelines, which indicates no more than 3 liters of water should be used at a time. While that is a fair amount of water for a bowl, I could clean A LOT of produce in a clean sink with a larger unit! However, I do look forward to utilizing this often and hope it’s around for all my garden produce next year!Note: The Amazon product listing indicates this can be used with other foods and objects. While I haven’t used it yet for beans, lentils or grains, I anticipate I will in the future. However, I personally won’t use this particular unit for jewelry, meats or aquatic products. I am not saying the YOOUUQIAN (Fruit and Vegetable Washing Machine) 4000 OH-ion Purification Technology won’t work for those items, I just choose not to use the same unit I’m using for fruits and veggies, to clean anything else…especially meat.

Clean.
I scrub all my vegetables, and then usually leave them to soak, I didn't realize how much I was missing until I got this. It assists in sanitation, and does a fine job of it.I'll never worry about dirty vegetables again.

I saw fizzing and bubbles, so I guess it works?
The media could not be loaded. I've never used anything like this before, so I have nothing to compare to. That said, I did see fizzing and bubbles coming out of this fruit and veggie washer when submerged in water.I posted a video so you can see for yourself and make your own judgment about efficacy based on the volume of fizz and bubbles.Although I don't care for the deep teal blue color, I'm still giving it 5 stars because it is as described and to the best of my knowledge it does what it's supposed to do.

So fresh and so clean clean..
I have been wanting to try one of these for a while, I heard it the crazy in Asia and is slowly gaining popularity in the US. I eat predominantly raw fruits and vegetables and do a lot of juicing so I am ALWAYS washing produce. I do buy organic but even organic seems to have an unnatural wax feel to al lot of the fruits these days so having an extra tool to ensure chemical free foods is well worth it. The device itself is designed nicely and is user friendly. Once it's charged all you have to do is power it on and place it in the water with your fruits and/or veggies. It is suggested to use for 10 minutes for 3-5L, 20 minutes for 6L, and 30 minutes for 8L of water. I am not exactly sure of the science behind this but I do know water is the greatest solvent and I do notice a difference using it. Happily pleased.

An easy-to-use fruit and vegetable purifier that ensures my produce is clean …
This is a really interesting little piece of equipment that takes the guesswork out of cleaning fruits and vegetables. It didn’t come fully charged so I plugged the charging base into the wall for a while. There’s no wall adapter, but that shouldn’t be a problem for most people as we all have them. It wasn’t long before the indicator switch turned green, but once I removed it from the charging dock, it reverted to red.I decided to leave the fruit and vegetable washing machine plugged in for the night, ensuring I’d get a full charge. I have plenty of produce to clean and like the idea of a thorough electrolytic cleaning. I put some apples and pears into the water along with the machine. It wasn’t long before I thought I could see it in action. I periodically stirred the water to rotate my apples and pears.Once the process was complete, the washing machine turned off and I knew the cycle was over. I removed the unit from the water bath and wiped it down. I wiped down my fruit as well and was quite satisfied with the process. When the machine is fully charged, it won’t be difficult to clean my produce. I do like the simplicity of the process and definitely would recommend getting one of these if you want to make sure your produce is clean.

Not sure if it works
The media could not be loaded. I owned one of these devices awhile ago. My previous one always creates micro bubble once I placed it inside the water with my veggies. It doesn’t look like this one is doing anything. There was barely any bubble and didn’t notice any difference in the cleanliness of my veggies. Maybe I got a faulty product. The design is small and would fit in a standard strainer. The plastic material feels a little fragile and cheap. Tbh I wished this one would work like my original one :(
