let's go to the mall!
The Riverview Mall is closing and under construction. The theater at the end is the only business remaining and tonight is it's last night. The employees have just locked the doors and are cleaning up one last time. They are ready to go celebrate at IHOP and are just waiting for their manager to open the safe and give them their keys and their phones. And then the lights go out and everything turns to terror. This one is fast paced and pretty terrifying. Six teenagers locked in an abandoned mall with no way out and a killer hunting them down. As someone who spent a lot of my teenage years at the mall, I can totally picture how creepy a food court could be when everything is covered in plastic and plywood and broken bits of furniture. You know from the beginning that they're not all going to make it out alive. But you don't know who will survive.I was nervous about this one because I've read one other book by the author and the ending of that book was frustrating. This one was more satisfying. I liked it!

Not Bad...
The book wasn't bad. It could have been better. It felt a little predictable, and cliche. Nothing really made it stand out from any other ya thriller, but it was tense enough to keep me reading until the end.

An edge of your seat suspense, action, and horror book. This was a great read!
Loved this! full of suspense and keeps you on the edge of your seat! There are a lot of horrifying moments. A theater is closing down and it's the last night. The group of employees are all friends and decided to go for pancakes at the end of their shift to kind of celebrate them working together for so long and leaving for new jobs. Things don't go according to plan. The power goes out, people die, and they are in for a real creepy surprise!

Gory but great
A closing mall is the perfect place for a group of teenagers to run from a killer. It's so easy to see a group of coworkers closing up for their final night of work and then things going wrongVery intense, you know people are going to die but don't know who was going to die and I so anxious and invested the whole time
