Won't degrade in the sun
Replaced two similar cable glands that after 15 years in the sun deteriorated and were falling apart. That should not be an issue for these. The gland comes with "bits" (really just short lengths of brass tube) which make it easy to drill cleanly through the rubber centerpiece. Use the supplied tubes! You won't get a clean hole that a cable will pass through with a drill bit. Or try, like I did, and waste a few minutes of your time, then use the tubes. It's your afternoon. Naturally, none of the screw holes lined up. Can't have everything.

Worth the price!
I liked the robust design. Should last for many years. Used to feed LAN cable to outdoor WiFi access point.

Works great, nice looking but pricey. If you need a clam this is definitely the way to go

Good product but was opened
Good cable gland, but mine had been opened and had six screws and two bolts instead of four of each.Can't use it with only two bolts so i will be headed to the hardware store

The drilling process is a bit of a joke. I'd rather receive something with a few different rubber inserts with a few different prepunched holes because drilling left a crappy hole and when I tried using a punch/die it was too thick so it just rebounded and didn't punch a hole. I give it 3 stars since it'll work, it's just not nearly the nice watertight fit I was looking for.
