So good!
This is book 3 in the LA ruthless series but book 1 for Jax and Lucia and it is so good! This couple deals with the very real problem of Jax being Lucia's fathers best friend and right hand man.... Uh oh!I absolutely love Lucia! She is a strong willed, feisty FMC who speaks up and tells it like it is. But she also has a bit of vulnerable streak when it comes to feeling good enough. Enter Jackson Decker. Jax, as he is affectionately called, knows he has to stay away from Lucia. There is no way their relationship can happen. But as she inserts herself into yet another aspect of his life by joining the family business he finds he cant ignore the pull. He quickly learns he will sacrifice anything in this world for Lucia and her son Matthias, even if that means his best friend. The book doesn't lack in plot as the couple is battling other things along the way. Lucia is attacked and later kidnapped and Jackson deals with the heartbreak of an alcoholic father who is too late to make amends. Along the way they push and pull and fight to be together and support each other. Lucia is strong and Jax helps her build on that in all aspects of her life. He lets her stand on her own but is there as support when she needs it.The editing and grammar are top notch and there is nothing that distracts from the flow of the plot or the fun banter and back and forth that happens throughout the book. Add in Lucia's cute kid and its a recipe for an HEA for sure!I love seeing glimpses of other characters from the authors other series and of course seeing more of Lucia's parents as they learn on Jax and Lucia. The book is also available on audio with 2 amazing narrators bringing these strong, spicy characters to life!

So good
This is the story of Lucia and Jackson from the previous books in this series. Their story was good, fast paced, sexy and a great character telling. Definitely give this series a chance and now onto the next one.

loved it!!
I loved this book! The story of Jax and Lucia is such a great story. I wasn’t sure I was going to like it as well as I did the first two books but I really did like it. Loved that they dealt with age gap stuff and her dad’s best friend, you could really feel the anxiety around all that.

Jax and Lucia
I loved this book and reading about Jax, I remember him from the Ryan Brothers books... Just like reading about Alejandro and Alana... Very interesting read, all three books so far... Really good job!!!!

The plot is everything you wanted it to be
It was good, don’t get me wrong. I already told a few friends about it. The storyline was everything you wanted it to be. But the spelling and grammatical errors were so distracting. I honestly felt like I was reading a draft, not a final print. I mean, at one point an entire sentence was repeated for no reason. Words were spelled wrong to the point where at times it changed what the entire sentence meant. It really took me out of it when I had to try and figure out what she actually meant to say. I love getting lost in a book but this one, I just couldn’t bc I kept getting stopped by errors that I had to decipher.

Fierce Betrayal
This author has become a top favorite of mine because the stories that she writes are absolutely fabulous. This is book 3 in the series and Jax and Lucia get their own story and I love it. The story moved smoothly and I like how Alejandro and Alana were still included which I really enjoy when authors do that in a series.

age gap love
I love Jax and Lucia. It was a little weird. At first because she's a teenager in book of the series. I do think her character she's a bit immature for Jax. She's argue with her dad too much over her safety, but wants to live that mafia lifestyle. That was the most why I had to take a star away.

Spice- checkSuper taboo relationship- checkHeartwarming- checkTrauma and drama- check and checkThis book has some really hard moments, and as with anything with Sadie, the content warnings shouldn't be ignored... there are some big traumas covered that are painful but real. I also love the reality that this covers that not every taboo relationship is going to be loved by everyone in our circle... but that ultimately if it is the right one for us, we will find a way... especially in beautifully wrote fiction.
