Daiwa Lexa-LC 5.5:1 Line Counter Right Hand Baitcast Fishing Reel w/ Power Handle - LEXA-LC400PWR-P

Love the reel so far
Reel just feels really well built. I got a chance to use a couple of them last salmon season and think they are one of the best salmon trolling reels out there.Things I like are: They have really smooth drags. I really like the power handle. The line counter is almost a must trolling salmon. They are solidly built and look great. I don't do much casting with them but they are pretty easy to cast. The 5.5:1 seems about right and takes about the same amount of line in my Shamino Tekota's do.Things that are not so great for me for a salmon rod. They are probably a little on the big side. I put about 275 yards of 65# braid on my reel. Not a big issue, because they sit low, but the 300 model might be a better choice most of the time. It is great they have 25# of drag but doubt I will ever need anything close to that for what I do. And lastly the clicker is almost annoyingly loud. (I know just turn it off) None of these are really a problem though.Like I said I bought this reel for salmon trolling but would have no issue using it for sturgeon eiher. I have lots of linecounter reels and have owned many more. My shimino Tekota's are about my favorite but I would put this reel right up there with them.

Diawa Lexa, Cadillac of Low Profile large reels.
Smooth strong drag. Very powerful and casts well. Line counter doesnt always work. Often have to reel up and reset the counter and let it back out. Counter seems accurate though.
