Inov-8 Men's F-lite 250 Cross-trainer Shoe

Bought size US M14 Standard Fit in grey/ neon yellow. I'd have bought the black & white if it didn't have the huge logo in white across the foot. I prefer a more subtle look and black and grey wasn't available in my size. This is my first pair of Inov-8 footwear. My foot is medium wide across the ball of the foot with a low arch and I weigh about 215 lbs.The fit has been great. These have been the most comfortable & lightweight cross-trainers I've ever had. So far these have been restricted to inside the gym during intensive workouts on assorted cardio equipment (stairs, Nordic, elliptical, treadmill, etc.) and moderate weight lifting. No pressure points, or hot spots despite plenty of high intensity use.They breathe well, apparently absorb little, and dry quickly. A quick spray of mineral salt water inside them after the workout and there is absolutely no odor despite sitting in the locker overnight.This is one of those rare products that is perfect for me as is, and I hope doesn't change. Other than some additional color options in my size. I'll probably grab another pair or two just have some equivalent replacements for when they eventually wear out.

Do you have wide feet? Do you like functional fitness? Do you love Altra running shoes because of the large toe box? This is the shoe for you. I've worn all the Nanos, New Balances. They all are too narrow in the toe box. This shoe has plenty of room up front but also grabs and supports your heel. Just like other reviewers have stating, they may run large. Especially if you have narrow feet. If you do have narrow feet I would drop one half size down. But for me I stayed with my standard size and they fit my wide feet perfectly. My only concern is with durability. The sole and tread seams to be thinner than the Nanos also the rubber covering the toe is on the thinner side. But do you want durability or a super comfortable light weight functional fitness shoe?. I'm sold for now. On a side note you'll be the cool kid at the gym with the crossfit shoes that don't look like everyone else. The only real complaint I have is the choice of colors. If you don't want plain black, well it's time to turn your man card in and go with the twinkle toe light blue ones. The guys at the fire house are going to love these. lol

I've been crossfitting for several years and have gone thru many different shoes: Reebok nano 3, nike metcon 1, inov8 flite 195, inov8 flite 235, inov8 fastlift 335 and now the inov8 flite 250. These 250 might be the best for heavy barbell work.I must say the thing that stands out for me is how light these shoes are but yet provide such solid support. The 8mm drop is great on squats and cleans. The nike metcons come close with its 4mm drop but they are so darn heavy (weigh close to the fastloft 335s) and have awkard sizing. These 250s may even replace the need to even use my fastlifts.Depending on the WOD, the 235s or the 250s will be my go to shoes. This is the wod i did in the 250s today and they were great on the full cleans and wallballs.21-15-9deadlift (185/125)wall balls (20/14)**run 600m**15-12-9full clean (135/95)pull ups**run 400m**12-9-6power clean (135/95)bar over burpee**run 200m**Also note that I wear size 12 in the 195 and 235 but had to get 11.5 in these. I also wear 11.5 in the 335s. I wear 11.5 in the metcon1 but it's a snug tight and size 12 was too big in those.

Inov-8 Men's F-lite 250 Performance Training Shoe, Blue/Grey/Orange, 10.5 D US Bought this with the Holiday discount at 25% bringing it to $84.25 w/ tax. (Much cheaper than retail in competing online stores)As a new Inov-8 user, these shoes are great! I would say these are very comparable to the MX series in the New Balance family. Light weight, sturdy/strong, breathable and very vibrant colors. They both have different soles, Vibram for NB and Rope-tec for Inov-8. I don't know the durability difference is but, I'll add an update to this review in the future. I didn't give this 5-stars because, I only give 5 stars to "perfect" (pre-break in period) fit shoes.The best feature that makes these stand out from my previous training shoes is the heel support. Their "Power Heel" tech helps for squats, box jumps and just keeping your form stable to prevent from your ankle rolling.This is great for the value with the discount.

I'm a huge fan of INOV-8 shoes but I struggle with some of their minimal soles with zero drop. I'm using these for Crossfit and the stability for lifting, jumping, climbing, and running is a great balance compared to other shoes that tend to focus in one specific area. The shoes are also very lightweight, much lighter than some of my previous gen Reebok Nano's (3, 4, 5, 6). The color is bright and they're impossible to match with anything, but they perform great, which is the point of a good Crossfit/cross-training shoe. The only issue I've seen is some early wear in the clear grip layer on the side of the shoes, it's separating and likely to peal off soon, but it's not really that functional in the first place so I don't think I'll notice the difference.

Great crossfit shoe!I had an old pair of Nano 5s to replace so I got these. Note: I also have a set of NoBull and a set of Lifters purchased around the same time. I will often select one of these 3 pairs of shoes based on the workout. I will even WOD in my lifters for certain workouts. If I was going into a workout "blind", had no idea what the movements were and had to pick one set of shoes... I would definitely go in with my F-Lite 250's. Slightly higher heel falls right in between the Nano/NoBull & the lifters. These, for me, are the perfect general shoe that are "very good" for ALL movements.I've been doing crossfit for almost 2.5 years and just made it through my 3rd crossfit open. I've been through a decent amount of WODs and can say with confidence that these shoes will keep up with the demands of the box.

Nice lightweight shoe. Insole very basic and thin (3mm) but reasonably comfortable. Time will tell. Reasonably wide at the toes so could possibly get away with a special insole which is thicker without toes being cramped. Cool with prolonged use. I am happy with them so far.

After spending more time in the Gym than the open road I though it was time for a Gym Trainer rather than running shoes.I did a lot of research on the best shoes to buy and these came top of the list.They are comfortable, well cushioned and sturdy. They are very stable when using them for squats, shuttle runs etc but very light too which is a great combination.One notable thing that sets the apart from other shoes is the heel to toe lift, this means that your heel is higher than your toes which is vital for lifting weights and if like me you have an achilles issue (injury)A great buy and I would recommend highly.

Son súper cómodos y están padrísimos, pedí también unos Nano 7 y me quedaron chico y estos se los lleva de comidad y de estilo. Los recomiendo al 100% y me aguanta mis estrenamientos de Crossfit y no se resbalan. Cliente feliz es más los voy a comprar en negro.

not great, I like the look but size a little small and the colour came off the toes after the first workout.
